First look at Matt Smith’s radical hair transformation for new movie
As a dedicated fan who has witnessed Matt Smith’s transformative journey from the TARDIS to the Iron Throne, I must say that his metamorphosis into a punk rocker for “Caught Stealing” is nothing short of breathtaking! The yellow and orange mohawk, red tartan trousers, and that ominous bullet chain – it’s a testament to the versatility and daring choices he makes as an actor.
Matt Smith looks drastically different as he filmed for his latest movie with Austin Butler.
In the movie “Caught Stealing”, the actor playing the Doctor Who character sported a striking yellow-orange mohawk hairstyle, embracing the role of a punk rocker during filming.
He finished off his look with red plaid pants, a jacket adorned with studs, and a black torn t-shirt that seemed to have a bullet pendant hanging from it.
While filming in New York, the House of the Dragon star had a cut on his head while in character.
In the movie based on Charlie Huston’s 2004 novel, the actor will share screen time with Elvis’ co-star Butler, Zoë Kravitz, Liev Schreiber, and Regina King.
The movie will be helmed by Darren Aronofsky, who is renowned for his work on films like “Requiem for a Dream”, “The Whale”, “Black Swan”, and “Mother!
Smith isn’t making a single appearance on our screens; instead, he’ll be starring in the main role for Sky series “The Death of Bunny Munro“.
Following the character created by Nick Cave in his 2009 novel, Smith will take on the role of the main character, Bunny, who embarks on an exhilarating journey through the southern parts of England alongside his son, Bunny Junior, on a thrilling road trip.
Regarding working together on “The Death of Bunny Munro,” Smith expressed that it was an immense privilege. He considers it a remarkable investigation into themes such as love, sorrow, and disorder.
Fundamentally, it’s a profound, challenging, and heartfelt tale centered around a father and his son, grappling with grief and transformation.
Clerkenwell Films and Sky seem an ideal setting for crafting a daring tale, as Pete’s brilliant scripts offer a balance of humor and heartbreak that is simply captivating.
“I can’t wait to collaborate with Isabella and begin the journey with everyone at Clerkenwell.”
I just caught Smith in Daniel Kokotajlo’s latest chilling masterpiece, “Starve Acre,” that hit the screens on September 6th. What a thrill!
Additionally featuring Morfydd Clark, this movie unfolds in the English countryside during the 1970s, focusing on the story of a couple named Richard and Juliette. Their tranquil life is disrupted when their son, Owen, exhibits unusual behavior that deviates from his typical self.
