First look at Keira Knightley’s next British Netflix thriller with stacked cast

Towards the end of last year, we couldn’t get enough of Keira Knightley’s spy thriller “Black Doves.” This year, you won’t want to miss her in yet another gripping British thriller available on Netflix.

In “The Woman in Cabin 10,” adapted from the popular novel by Ruth Ware, Knightley takes on the role of a journalist embarking on a travel assignment aboard a lavish yacht. As night falls, she unexpectedly observes a fellow passenger being thrown into the water.

Despite being informed that everyone aboard was accounted for, I can’t shake off this feeling that something isn’t right. Unwavering in my pursuit, I continue digging for the truth, braving the risks to my own life, as I struggle to make sense of what happened and bring clarity to those who doubt me.

This fall, the movie adaptation of “The Woman in Cabin 10” is set to premiere on Netflix. The initial snapshot from the film has been unveiled, and you can take a peek at it just below!

Not only is Keira Knightley heading a new thriller that’s already intriguing, but the stellar lineup of actors in The Woman in Cabin 10 makes it even more enticing.

In addition to Knightley, the film features Guy Pearce, Hannah Waddingham, Kaya Scodelario (who’s back on Netflix after the success of The Gentlemen), Paul Kaye, David Ajala, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and David Morrissey, along with several others.

Simon Stone, who co-wrote the script with Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse, is the director of “The Woman in Cabin 10.

Amongst the lineup of Netflix original films slated for release this year, “The Woman in Cabin 10” will be a noteworthy addition. Other notable titles include the new “Knives Out” film, the sequel to “The Old Guard,” and Guillermo del Toro’s eagerly awaited “Frankenstein.

The series “Black Doves” is indeed set to come back for a second season, however, viewers should not anticipate its arrival in the current year since it does not appear on Netflix’s official list of shows scheduled for release in 2025.

The Woman in Cabin 10 will be released on Netflix in autumn 2025.
