First look at Downton Abbey’s Michelle Dockery in new horror movie
As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for survival horror games and post-apocalyptic narratives, I must admit that the upcoming film “Please Don’t Feed the Children” has piqued my interest. The casting of Michelle Dockery, who I’ve always admired from her days at Downton Abbey, alongside Giancarlo Esposito from Breaking Bad, is a winning combination in my book.
The initial images of Michelle Dockery are out now, showcasing her role in the forthcoming horror movie titled “Please Don’t Feed the Children“.
As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that I, along with Breaking Bad’s brilliant Giancarlo Esposito, star in an exhilarating post-apocalyptic film, continuing my journey from the grand halls of Downton Abbey.
In a single reflection, Dockery stands ominously, her gaze locked intently on a young child in the mirror.
In the next scene, we see her character tending to a wounded man while donning surgical gloves.
In a world ravaged by pandemic, leaving behind only orphans, a band of them embark on an American odyssey in pursuit of a fresh start. Along the way, they encounter a dangerous woman with a mysterious and chilling history, who ultimately ensnares them.
It’s speculated that Dockery is portraying a ruthless female character, but specific details about her role haven’t been publicly disclosed yet.
The movie titled “Please Don’t Feed the Children” signifies the first directorial venture by Destry Allyn Spielberg, who is known as the daughter of renowned filmmaker Steven Spielberg in Hollywood. The screenplay for this film was written by Paul Bertino.
This week, the world premiere of the terrifying film is scheduled to take place at the Sitges Film Festival, located in Catalonia, Spain.
In March 2023, when the movie received approval (greenlit), Steven Spielberg expressed great admiration for the actors, particularly Michelle Dockery, stating: “Working with her talent is a long-cherished dream. I am thrilled to push the boundaries of the genre with our exceptional cast and team.
2024 finds Dockery with a packed schedule as he took on a prominent role in “This Town,” the newest production penned by Steven Knight, creator of “Peaky Blinders.
In the coming year, you’ll catch her acting in the thrilling movie “Flight Risk,” starring alongside Mark Wahlberg. The film is set to hit the screens in January.
Please Don’t Feed the Children currently has no UK release date.
