First look at “captivating” Manchester-set Channel 4 drama with ‘the finest acting you’ll see’

Channel 4 has given viewers a sneak peek at its new drama, Tip Toe, featuring Alan Cumming and David Morrissey. The series, which has been called ‘captivating,’ centers on two neighbors who turn into bitter rivals against a backdrop of increasing tension.

Cummings stars as Leo, the lively, humorous, and energetic owner of a bar in Manchester’s Gay Village. Morrissey plays his quiet and troubled neighbor, who he’s known for fifteen years.

The new series, from the creator of Doctor Who, Russell T Davies, tells the story of Leo and Clive, neighbors in Manchester who’ve known each other for nearly fifteen years. Just when they expect things to calm down, the world around them starts to feel increasingly uneasy.
