Walt Disney World is offering Annual Passholders reservation-free days on April 14th and 15th, 2026, right after the Easter holiday. This marks the first time the park has offered these dates since the busy spring season.
As a big Disney fan, I already have my eye on 2026! Easter falls on April 5th that year, and it’s always a super busy time at Disney World. It usually coincides with spring break, which means all four parks get really crowded. Because of that, Disney tends to be pretty strict about park reservations during those weeks to manage the crowds.
Adding April 14th and 15th to the schedule accounts for an expected decrease in visitors following the holiday. Historically, crowds start to thin out more than a week after Easter Sunday, and mid-April generally sees more moderate attendance than late March or early April. While visitor numbers can change, this adjustment reflects a typical pattern.
What are Good-to-Go Days
With Good-to-Go Days, Annual Passholders can visit any Walt Disney World theme park without needing to make a reservation beforehand. You’ll still need a valid park ticket, and some pass types may have dates when they can’t be used. Keep in mind that entry is always based on park capacity, so there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to get in if a park is too crowded.
This program works with our existing passholder rules. Generally, passholders can visit the parks after 2:00 p.m. on weekdays without needing a reservation. However, reservations are still needed for Magic Kingdom on weekends. “Good-to-Go Days” eliminate the reservation requirement for the whole day, giving you more options and freedom.

As a Disney fan, I’ve been tracking their release of dates for booking experiences, and it’s been a bit of a slow roll-out. They haven’t announced everything at once; instead, they’ve been dropping dates throughout 2026, often with very little notice – sometimes just days before those dates actually become available without needing a reservation. It’s kept us all on our toes, that’s for sure!
As a Disney fan, it seems like when they offer those days without reservations really depends on how busy they think the parks will be. They have to look at things like how many people they expect, how many staff are available, and making sure enough rides are running. I think putting those ‘Good-to-Go Days’ after Easter is a smart move – it lets them see how crowds change after the holiday and still keep things manageable when it’s super busy.
As a regular moviegoer, I was really happy to see those dates – April 14th and 15th – open up for passholders to just drop in without reservations! Since the pandemic, things changed with the reservation system they brought in back in 2020. It really made planning trips a bit more complicated. While it’s gotten a little easier, you usually still need to book in advance unless you’re going on those specific days. It’s great to have a little more spontaneity back!
If you’re visiting on these days, be prepared for crowds. Popular places, including attractions and restaurants, might get full, particularly around lunchtime. To avoid long waits and have a better experience, it’s best to arrive early in the day.

Disney hasn’t yet announced any Good-to-Go Days after April 15th. However, based on past years, they may add more dates this spring. Passholders should keep an eye on Disney’s official website and social media for the latest information.
April 14th and 15th represent a shift from the busiest spring travel dates to a time with fewer crowds. This also shows Disney continuing to adjust how people make park reservations.
