First glimpse at return of “wildly entertaining” British crime drama with Theo James after recent cast update
The Gentlemen season 2 is on its way as the first-look images of Theo James on set have dropped.
In Guy Ritchie’s new Netflix series, the story revolves around the cannabis business managed by Eddie Horniman, portrayed by James, and Susie, played by Kaya Scodelario. However, complications arise due to Eddie’s less-than-trustworthy older brother Freddie, played by Daniel Ings.
Following the acclaimed first season, which was labeled as “extremely engaging” by a critic on Rotten Tomatoes, production for the second season has commenced in the United Kingdom.

Exclusive images from Digital Spy show that James reprises his role as Eddie, hinting that he might need to stay vigilant and keep a watchful eye.
In one picture, a snap captures a moment where a cyclist nearly collides with the main character. Meanwhile, another photograph presents an imminent confrontation between a different individual and Geoffrey (played by Vinnie Jones), who is wielding a baseball bat.
For the upcoming season 2, Skodelario and Ing have been confirmed to reappear in their respective roles. Additionally, we’ll see the return of Joely Richardson, Ray Winstone, Giancarlo Esposito, Jasmine Blackborow, Michael Vu, Harry Goodwins, Ruby Sear, and Pearce Quigley.
With their father’s dealings taking the criminal activity from the English countryside to the heart of northern Italy, fresh players enter into Eddie and Susie’s perilous affair, adding complexity to their already risky situation.
In the second season of Downton Abbey, Hugh Bonneville from Downton Abbey, as well as Benjamin Clementine, Amra Mallassi (from Dune), Benedetta Porcaroli (Immaculate), and Sergio Castellitto (Conclave) are all set to appear.
Additionally, the popular show’s host, Maya Jama, will also grace our screens. In supporting roles, you’ll find Michele Morrone from “Another Simple Favour” and Tyler from “Hollyoaks”.
Ahead of its return on Netflix, Ritchie teased the show’s “expansion” in the new season.
In this chapter, Ritchie noted that we’ll be venturing further, both geographically (covering new territories) and thematically (exploring new subjects), as we travel from the landscapes of the English countryside to the picturesque Italian lakes, according to his statement.
As I delve deeper into this unpredictable realm, I’m surrounded by a tide of mysterious newcomers, testing my skills and the strength of our alliance at every turn.
The situation is becoming more intense, the balance of power is becoming riskier, and I’m excited to work together again with such an outstanding group of performers and production team.
At the moment, you can stream the first season of “The Gentlemen” on Netflix. The second season is being made right now and will become available later.
