First Dates Star Fred Sirieix Marries ‘Fruitcake’ in Stunning Jamaican Castle Wedding

This week, Fred Sirieix wed his long-term companion, Fruitcake, in a breathtaking Jamaican castle, with the love and presence of their loved ones.

On their respective social media platforms, the 53-year-old maître d’hôtel from First Dates and his 50-year-old fashion expert partner showcased glimpses of a lavish event they attended, giving followers a sneak peek into the opulent aspects of the day.

They got married at Pattoo Castle on the island, where Fruitcake, affectionately known by that name, looked stunning in a strapless white lace dress with a veil of sheer material as she gracefully walked towards the altar.

Meanwhile, Fred cut a dashing figure in a crisp white jacket paired with black pants and a bow tie, as they pledged their love on the grand steps of the castle, beautifully embellished with an array of stunning white blooms.

The individual, identified as fruitcake, expressed great joy on social media platforms, declaring enthusiastically that it was the “most wonderful day” of their lives. Additionally, they uploaded a video showcasing a stunning long table setup adorned with an array of flowers, fairy lights, and candles.

On his profile, Fred posted pictures featuring several attendees, among them was his son Matteo Lucien, aged 16, who served as the Best Man. He was elegantly dressed in a crisp white tuxedo and enjoyed a refreshing coconut beverage.

As Fruitcake glanced over some aspects of her attire and hairstyle, the camera zoomed in to show her neat bun and glittering headpiece, indicating her stylist had been involved.

In the end, Fred posted a delightful video of them unwinding on loungers under the sun following the special event, with Fruitcake flaunting her large engagement ring and wedding band proudly.

In March 2020, Fred put forward a marriage proposal to the woman he fondly calls ‘Fruitcake’, marking their second year together as a couple.

Fred tends to keep most details about his relationship private, but now and then he posts photos of him and Fruitcake on social media during their vacation retreats.

Back in January 2018, Fred publicly announced that he was in a relationship with his future spouse by sharing a post on his Instagram account.

The pair first met nine years ago when they caught one another’s eye when walking through Peckham.

In conversation with Fabulous magazine, Fred shared: “Sometimes, my partner (whom I affectionately refer to as ‘fruitcake’) and I unwind with a glass of wine and some small plates of Spanish cuisine after work.

After a tiring day, it’s delightful to unwind with a peaceful chat and unwind. When I manage to spend time in the kitchen, I truly enjoy crafting homemade pasta. The process of rolling it out is incredibly soothing, and it leaves me covered in flour – which adds to the joy!

During the evening hours, there’s hardly anything I enjoy more than unwinding with a beverage (like beer) and catching a show on Netflix.

Previously, Fred had been with his former partner Alex in a lasting bond spanning 12 years. Together, they have two kids: Andrea, now 20, and Matteo Lucien, who is 16 years old.

Previously, it was disclosed that Fred and Fruitcake called off their wedding, with plans to postpone their vow-exchange until after the Covid-19 pandemic has ended.

Additionally, he shared that because of the lockdown, he was unable to give his fiancée an engagement ring at the moment he proposed, yet fortunately, she still agreed to marry him.

Last year in the I’m A Celebrity jungle, Fred mentioned that he and Fruitcake had been discussing a wedding plan in Jamaica.

He said: ‘I’ve never had a bad date. But the way I met Fruitcake, I met her in Peckham… 

As I strolled along, our paths crossed, and her radiant smile caught my eye. Reciprocating with a warm grin of my own, I found myself drawn to the captivating sparkle in her eyes. Instinctively, I felt compelled to engage in conversation with this intriguing individual.

Nine years have passed since I asked her out for a drink and she gave me her number. Now, we’re set to tie the knot in Jamaica next year.

2020 records showed that Fred had an impressive amount of money, almost a million pounds, saved up before his wedding, suggesting the event was extravagant.

In December, it was disclosed that Fruitcake had been diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy. She admitted that she no longer feels familiar when looking at her own reflection.

Bell’s Palsy refers to a temporary neurological issue that leads to partial or complete facial muscle weakness, affecting only one side.

The 50-year-old fashion expert confessed that she was transported to the hospital by an ambulance due to the sudden onset of symptoms, as these could resemble those associated with a stroke.

Fruitcake posted a series of selfies, showcasing different stages during her fight against Bell’s Palsy, offering followers a glimpse into her healing process.

On Instagram, she shared: “Hi all! I’ve been out of sight for a few months because I was recently diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy.

As a lifestyle expert, let me clarify that there’s a condition known as Bell’s Palsy, which can lead to a surprising and transient weakness or immobility in the muscles on just one side of your face.

Sharing details about her ailments, she explained, “At first, I felt intense agony, my face contorted abnormally (take a look at the latest photo), and I had distress in both my ear and head that was extremely uncomfortable and difficult to cope with.

When I noticed symptoms resembling those of Bell’s Palsy, which can mimic a stroke, I promptly contacted the NHS helpline. Consequently, an ambulance was dispatched to transport me urgently to the emergency room for prompt treatment.

‘Now, I’m managing some ongoing issues like visual disturbances and aches in my ear and jaw.’

Fruitcake mentioned that sometimes she can’t tell who it is when looking at her mirror image because she has lost sensation in her face.

She mentioned that one of the hardest struggles she faced was failing to recognize herself in the mirror, leading her to avoid social interactions.

Yet, every day offers fresh gifts, and I’m gradually regaining my familiar appearance. After receiving my diagnosis, I’ve found myself exploring more about this condition, which was entirely unfamiliar to me beforehand. Listening to the experiences of others going through the same situation has been truly motivating.

She mentioned, “Let me pause for a moment to convey my sincere thanks. My family and friends have truly been remarkable during this entire experience.

I’m deeply grateful to those who’ve taken time to reach out and ask about my wellbeing; your kindness truly makes a difference in my world! And a heartfelt thank you goes out to all the dedicated individuals at the NHS, taking care of me. You’re simply amazing! x

Somewhere else, it is claimed that Gino D’Acampo, Fred’s colleague who has been in the news for scandals, reportedly embarrassed a dancer by proposing a threesome involving her during the filming of their recent ITV series, Emission Impossible.

The television cook, aged 48, has faced more than forty accusations of sexually inappropriate and intimidating actions spanning a twelve-year timeframe. These allegations, which he refutes, leave him profoundly upset, according to his statement.

This hidden gem didn’t make it to the airwaves, but I’ve got the scoop! It seems our dynamic duo – the Italian sensation Gino and the charismatic Frenchman Fred – embarked on a cultural journey to the enchanting landscapes of Austria. Their mission? To learn the secrets of traditional Austrian dance, a skill they mastered under the watchful eyes of local artisans. Ah, the thrill of discovery never fades!

As reported by the source, the married chef persistently questioned the female dancer about her preference between Italian or French men, disregarding her assertion that she was in a relationship already.

In what appears to be a later incident, it is said that Gino seemingly feigned striking his fellow actor’s private areas during their performance and then inquired of the dancer, “Why not make it a threesome instead?

‘No’ she replied firmly, before asking the audience: ‘Everybody happy?’.

In response, the dancer retorted again: ‘It wasn’t me’, this allegedly sparked the family dance group to file a complaint with the production company of the series.

According to reports, the production company received numerous complaints from cast members and staff during filming. These issues became so significant that filming had to be temporarily stopped while in Austria for a week, eventually being brought to ITV’s attention.

It appears that Gino’s poor health may have been the reason for the cancellation, though it’s worth noting that there had previously been some apprehensions regarding his conduct during the production.

In the video, it’s quite apparent that the performers seem uneasy throughout the shooting process. Regrettably, I noticed some questionable, inappropriate comments from Gino directed towards them, which is not only unprofessional but also deeply discomforting.

On Sunday, it was reported that Fred publicly stood by Gino, despite accusations of inappropriate behavior. As per The Mirror, he also liked a recent post from one of his friends, although this like is no longer visible on the post now.

Gino shared a video from the event where he interacted with fans at an Asda store, promoting his cookbook by selling it.

24 hours prior to being dismissed by ITV, the carefree Gino relished an evening out with his wife Jessica Stellina Morrison and fellow actor Fred, amidst accusations of improper sexual conduct and bullying behavior.

However, prior to the public announcement, Gino (aged 48) along with Jessica, their common children Luciano (22), Rocco (19), and Mia (12), were having a lively time together with their fellow actor, Fred.

In the Instagram post, they all smiled and chuckled upon entering the event, with Gino playfully commenting that his wife had picked the incorrect foreigner, as she was seen holding hands with the Frenchman, Fred.

It’s clear that the Italian chef was not included in Gordon, Gino, and Fred’s Road Trip, as he declined to agree to a moral conduct clause in his contract which could have led to his dismissal by ITV if his behavior during filming became an issue.

While Fred remains a supporter of his friend Gino, Gordon Ramsay has yet to voice his opinion amidst the uproar.

2019 saw signs suggesting a complex nature in their relationship, as Gordon openly expressed anger over his teenage daughter Tilly dating Luciano, the son of his fellow actor.

At age 17, these two sweethearts grabbed attention when they crossed paths on the set of Gordon, Gino, and Fred’s ITV culinary journey, “Road Trip.” The notorious British chef infamously labeled their romantic entanglement as a ‘disaster.’

After their once cherished friendship deteriorated over the past few months, the doubts about their relationship have taken on a different perspective. In fact, accusations against Gordon suggest that he betrayed Gino in some way, allegedly abandoning him during this critical time when Gordon is trying to protect his own reputation.
