As a nostalgic gamer who grew up playing these classic games, I can’t help but feel like a kid in a candy store with Square Enix’s latest announcements! The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster collection, Legend of Mana, and Trials of Mana are all now available on Xbox Series X|S and PC. And to top it off, they’re both included in the Xbox Game Pass library!
Today at the Tokyo Game Show, Square Enix unveiled exciting news: Final Fantasy I-VI Pixel Remaster, Legend of Mana, and Trials of Mana have all been released on Xbox! You can grab them immediately. And that’s not all – you can also play both Mana games through Xbox Game Pass right away!
The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster has been released on Xbox Series X|S and PC! This collection brings together Final Fantasy I through VI, all beautifully updated for high-definition displays while maintaining the charm of the original games. Each title offers enhanced features like the option to disable random encounters, use experience multipliers, and select between high-resolution or pixel fonts. You can buy each game individually for $17.99/£14.99 ($11.99/£9.49 each for Final Fantasy I and II), or opt for the bundle priced at $74.99/£64.99. For a limited time, there’s a 20% discount available!
The remastered version of Legend of Mana is now accessible via Xbox Game Pass! This fourth installment in the Mana series lets you embark on a journey to locate the magical Mana Tree, as seen in a dream. However, the world map initially appears blank, requiring you to discover and place artifacts on the map to bring towns and dungeons to life using the ‘Land Creation’ system. Similar to Pixel Remaster, it offers improved features such as an option to disable random encounters, a new mini-game titled ‘Ring Ring Land’, and additional enhancements.
In the Game Pass library, Mana’s Trials now shares space with Legend, offering a remastered version of the 1995 third installment in the Mana series, boasting high-definition graphics. This captivating adventure presents you with iconic heroes and villains that you’ll remember long after your journey ends.
Final Fantasy I-VI Pixel Remaster, Legend of Mana, and Trials of Mana are all out now for Xbox Series X|S and PC, and you can check out the release trailers for all three below. The limited-time discount on Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster comes to an end on 3rd October at 3am PDT.
