Final Destination fans only have days to rewatch the series before it’s removed from Prime Video
Fans of the “Final Destination” series should act quickly if they want to catch up on all the movies before the next installment comes out, as Amazon Prime Video plans to take down the films from their streaming library within a few weeks.
The popular horror series will make a comeback this coming Friday, May 16th, with its sixth chapter titled “Final Destination: Bloodlines“. This marks the end of a 14-year gap in the franchise since the release of “Final Destination 5“.
Before the new movie hits theaters, you can watch the earlier episodes if you’re a fan, or discover them for the first time, through Amazon Prime Video.

But remember, you’ll need to act quickly since all the first five entries are set to be taken down from the streaming platform by the 25th of May, as per JustWatch.
In the near future, “Final Destination: Bloodlines” will be shown in movie theaters, as different characters find themselves trapped in a terrifying ordeal. The narrative centers around a college student who strives to save her family from impending doom after experiencing repeated premonitions.
The film features the return of legendary horror actor Tony Todd as William Bludworth, marking his last on-screen appearance.
The horror movie was skillfully directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, with a screenplay penned by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor. Remarkably, it showcases a groundbreaking moment where 71-year-old Yvette Ferguson broke the record as the oldest stunt performer ever to be set ablaze on camera.
Lipovsky described the scene by saying, “We ignited numerous individuals, even setting a world record for the oldest person ever to be on fire with Yvette Ferguson, who accomplished this spectacular feat in her silver gown. On camera, she was the oldest individual ever to be ablaze.
As a gamer, I’d say: Taking a break from retirement, I found myself relishing one of the most thrilling stunts I’ve ever pulled off in my career. If given the chance, I’d jump at it again! And here’s the kicker, who else gets to have this much fun at my age?
In the movie, Brec Bassinger, playing the character of young Iris Campbell, commented on a stunt performed by Ferguson: “I was close to him. Oh, it was amazing! Afterwards, everyone began applauding… She seemed incredibly excited.
You can stream the first five “Final Destination” movies on Amazon Prime Video up to May 25th. On the other hand, “Final Destination: Bloodlines” will be available in theaters starting from May 16th.
