Final Destination: Bloodlines makes a major change to its premonition sequence
Zach Lipovsky, who collaborated on directing “Final Destination: Bloodlines,” elaborates on how the premonition scene in the forthcoming movie sets it apart within the series.
The upcoming horror film, titled “Bloodlines,” marks the latest addition to the well-known horror series since 2011’s “Final Destination 5.” This movie focuses on a university student named Stefanie, who embarks on a quest to break the pattern of fatal events.
Similar to the last five “Final Destination” films, the upcoming movie begins with a spine-tingling vision of impending doom and disorder.

Instead, Lipovsky disclosed that the vision he saw foretold a tragic sequence of events that had occurred many years ago.
In the movie they’re working on together, which goes by the name “Bloodlines”, the initial foreshadowing event happens in 1969, as the filmmaker shared with SFX magazine in their latest edition.
As a gamer, I found myself thrust into a chilling scenario straight out of a “Final Destination” flick. The opening sequence was filled with tragic deaths, just like usual. But instead of being part of that grim cycle, I unexpectedly emerged, alive and kicking, in the bustling modern day, experiencing life through the eyes of someone entirely new.
This is fresh. Many enthusiasts might find it surprising at first, causing them to pause and ponder about the unfolding events. They’ll likely lean in closer to grasp the situation better.
The upcoming “Bloodlines” installment promises to be the lengthiest in the series, running for approximately 1 hour and 49 minutes and 40 seconds.
This production stars Brec Bassinger from Stargirl, Teo Briones known for Chucky, Kaitlyn Santa Juana of Dear Evan Hansen, Richard Harmon hailing from The 100, Anna Lore who is seen in Gotham Knights, and Max Lloyd-Jones and Rya Kihlstedt recognized for their work in Star Wars.
Prior to its release next month, the initial five “Final Destination” films have been made available on Amazon Prime Video. Except for the fourth movie, all other films can be streamed on Netflix as well.
Final Destination: Bloodlines releases on May 14 in the UK and May 16 in the US.
