Final Destination 6 drops eerie first trailer

Warner Bros. Pictures unveiled the initial teaser for “Final Destination: Bloodlines“, offering a glimpse into one of numerous creative demises that are in store.

Warner Bros. posted the latest trailer for X, warning: “Interfere with Death’s agenda, and the consequences could become quite chaotic. Final Destination: Bloodlines will hit theaters and IMAX on May 16th.

In the preview, a tattoo artist named Erik, who’s still mourning his father, voices his frustration to a customer about to get her tongue pierced, as he needs to secure the store.

He says, “My father recently passed away. They asked for my help, but now they’re asking me to take on a new responsibility – guard duty. It’s just a shame that as I speak these words, I’m inflicting harm upon you, putting a hole in your tongue.

As shown in the trailer and following the traditional style of the movie “Final Destination,” the atmosphere grows increasingly tense as the death of the tattoo artist is hinted at in various ways.

Ultimately, Erik’s nose piercing leads to disaster as a falling chain strikes it, causing an unfortunate incident. Later, the chain gets caught in the ceiling fan, leading to a spark that ignites a fire. Tragically, the force of the fire pulls Erik upward due to his piercing.

In an effort to save himself, he perches atop a fragile display case, causing it to crack and collapse. He plummets into the flames below, seemingly meeting a tragic demise, as his melancholic tunes continue to echo.

Under the guidance of directors Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, the movie titled “Final Destination: Bloodlines” is slated to hit US cinemas on May 16, 2025.

The sixth part of the series was penned by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor, featuring in the main roles Brec Bassinger, Teo Briones, Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Richard Harmon, Anna Lore, Max Lloyd-Jones, and Rya Kihlstedt.

According to reports, it appears that Tony Todd, known for playing key roles in several earlier films, will be part of the cast. More specifically, he is expected to reprise his character, the mortician William Bludworth, in the upcoming film.

Final Destination: Bloodlines will be released on May 16, 2025.
