Final Destination 6 confirms 2025 release date
As a die-hard fan of the “Final Destination” series who has witnessed every heart-stopping moment since its inception, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming sixth installment, “Bloodlines,” set to hit theaters on May 16, 2025. With Tony Todd reprising his iconic role as William Bludworth and a fresh cast of talented actors joining the franchise, this film promises to be a thrilling ride that I wouldn’t miss for the world… or death!
Final Destination: Bloodlines has confirmed its 2025 release date.
In other words, the latest addition to the supernatural horror series was helmed by directors Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein. They were guided by a screenplay penned by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor.
The movie is set for a U.S. premiere on May 16, 2025, replacing the original release date of the mystery thriller “Flowervale Street,” now scheduled for March 2026 (as reported by Variety).
In past years, movie series like “A Quiet Place” and “The Hangover” have thrived during the month of May.
Final Destination 2
The slasher series, starting from the year 2000, focuses on a band of characters who manage to survive an imminent catastrophe thanks to a fellow member’s sudden intuition and timely warning about a significant calamity.
It became known in September 2023 that Tony Todd would once again take on the mysterious character of William Bludworth, a mortician with deep understanding of Death and its entities.
In the upcoming movie, this will be his fourth on-screen role within the series, excluding his vocal performance in “Final Destination 3”. The plot is rumored to explore his past, featuring a flashback scene from his early years.
In addition to the main cast, Bloodlines features Brec Bassinger from Stargirl, Teo Briones known for Chucky, Kaitlyn Santa Juana of Dear Evan Hansen, Richard Harmon recognized from The 100, Anna Lore who appears in Gotham Knights, and Max Lloyd-Jones and Rya Kihlstedt, both stars of Star Wars.
Final Destination 5
Previously, “Digital Spy” was informed by “Final Destination” producer Craig Perry that the upcoming movie could take place within the realm of emergency response personnel.
As a gamer, I’ve learned that each decision I make in my virtual battles has real-world implications – it’s like they’re standing right there on the battlefield, deciding who lives or dies daily.
As a devotee, I find their wisdom, skillset, and composed nature to be reassuring. Therefore, it’s intriguing to imagine placing them in an extreme predicament where each decision could mean the difference between life and death – not just for others, but for them as well.
We’ve been considering the idea that the theme of the world could provide an engaging entry point for a Final Destination film, and one that would allow us to create distinct and believable scenes as well.
Final Destination: Bloodlines will be released on May 16, 2025.
