FIFAe to host inaugural multi-title ‘FIFAe Next Gen’ event in Liverpool starting this August 28th, 2024
As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement upon hearing about the FIFAe Next Gen event in 2024. Liverpool, the city that pulsates with football passion, will be hosting this grand spectacle, and I can hardly wait!
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m pumped to share that the official esports division of FIFA is bringing its debut ‘FIFAe Next Gen’ tournament! This multi-title event is set to take place from August 28th to September 1st, 2024, right in the heart of Liverpool, England. Can’t wait to be a part of it!
At this gathering, we’ll showcase two highly-acclaimed football video games: “Football Manager” and “eFootball” from KONAMI, fostering a unified space for various football and eSports enthusiasts.
With the FIFAe World Cup for Football Manager, local players can enjoy eFootball Mobile competition
20 teams, comprising a manager and an assistant manager for each team, will participate in the debut FIFAe World Cup, representing their respective countries. The tournament boasts a prize pool of $100,000, with the champion crowned as the world’s top Football Manager player, earning an exclusive invitation to the FIFA Diploma in Club Management. 19 nations are taking part, with England fielding two teams since they are hosting the event.

The gathering will feature the “FIFAe Fame Your Game Cup”, an exclusive eFootball mobile competition event, welcoming local participants to battle it out. If you’re in Liverpool, don’t miss your opportunity to join the qualifier round on 29 August, which could lead to competing against top global players from the eFootball mobile leaderboards on 30 August, 2024.
Apart from the thrilling competitive tournaments, FIFAe Next Gen 2024 also features captivating local events. During the last two days of the event, YouTuber Spencer Owen, better known as SpencerFC, will host a unique show focusing on football strategies and Football Manager. This special broadcast is scheduled to stream live on FIFAe channels.
In an effort to bolster the local community, FIFAe collaborates with TheRockinR to offer gaming carts to a hospital in Liverpool, and with EveryoneCan to equip a disability gaming center in Manchester with essential tools.
