In a Facebook post, the family of Kimberly Burch announced her passing, expressing their deep sorrow. They described Kimberly as a cherished daughter, sister, sister-in-law, and aunt whose absence will be deeply felt by everyone who knew her. On a Royal Caribbean cruise ship, the Explorer of the Seas, near Freeport, Bahamas, tragedy struck as Burch accidentally fell overboard. The ship was hosting ‘Faster Pussycat’, one of many acts scheduled for the ’80s Cruise’, a retro-themed pop concert event. This musical extravaganza featured a lineup including Squeeze, Adam Ant, Tiffany, Warrant, Dokken and Men at Work. The seven-day voyage, setting sail from Miami, made stops in Nassau, San Juan, and Puerto Plata.

According to reports from TMZ, Carnell Burch (Burch’s mother) stated that her son, Burch, tumbled off a ship following a disagreement with Downe. The incident is currently under investigation, with the U.S. Coast Guard taking charge. Earlier in the journey, Burch had shared pictures of himself with Downe on the vessel.
