Ferne McCann’s acid attacker ex Arthur Collins is ‘dating’ Love Island star behind bars – and she ‘thinks he’s The One’

It is reported that ex-partner of Ferne McCann, Arthur Collins, may have started a new relationship with Amelia Peters, a contestant from Love Island.

Currently, Arthur, aged 32, is serving a 20-year term in prison following his conviction for the 2017 acid attack at a nightclub that left 16 individuals severely injured.

Recently, he has been transferred to HMP Buckley Hall in Rochdale, and it’s reported that Amelia often pays him visits there.

According to a source, Amelia openly discusses her romantic involvement with Arthur and confides in her friends that she is deeply smitten by him, believing him to be her ideal partner.

‘She says she thinks Arthur is a changed man.

‘Some of her mates are worried about her getting involved with him but Amelia won’t listen.’

Arthur is said to have a phone in prison that he uses to talk to Amelia ‘all the time’. 

In prison, it’s forbidden to have a phone. If caught with one, the punishment can extend your sentence by up to two more years or result in a monetary fine.

Last month on Arthur’s birthday, it seemed like Amelia, aged 26, subtly suggested a romantic interest by sharing a photo of a beautiful bunch of red roses and an ‘A’ label on top.

On her Instagram post, she said, “‘Happy Birthday to the most charming hassle, I love you x.’

A separate source told The Sun that Amelia and Arthur are simply ‘family friends’.

TopMob has contacted HMP Buckley Hall and Amelia for comment. 

Previously serving as a teaching assistant, Amelia graced the screens during the third season of Love Island, a season that eventually crowned winners Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies.

In simpler terms, she made a dramatic entrance during Casa Amor, but she didn’t find a partner and was sent back off the island after only spending two days there.

Back then, she was the most youthful cast member to have graced the show, stepping into the villa at the tender age of eighteen.

2022 saw the disclosure that Arthur was in a loving relationship with a mother from Essex who is also a former Page 3 model, during his incarceration. The couple announced their engagement to wed.

A trustworthy source shared with TopMob that Arthur and Annie had met before Arthur’s imprisonment, thanks to their common acquaintances.

I, being deeply committed to my partner, am eagerly anticipating our upcoming nuptials later this year, despite his current incarceration. We’ve been together for the past six months and our bond has only grown stronger.

Annie knows about Arthur’s history, yet she is determined to stand by him, even going as far as getting a tattoo with his name to symbolize her devotion.

They share many similarities; it’s worth noting that Annie is also a mother of a young child. She feels they bond on a deeply spiritual plane.

They developed feelings for each other following their correspondence and conversations during prison visits, with Annie being convinced that Arthur genuinely regrets all the past incidents.

Annie has put in considerable effort towards Arthur’s recovery, and she deeply believes that they share an unbreakable bond. As they look ahead, they are excited about the prospect of creating a family and sharing a future together.

Previously, it had been shared that Arthur was dating Gemma Elliott, who had previously appeared on the show Take Me Out.

Arthur, father of seven-year-old Sunday with ex-TOWIE star Ferne, was given a 20-year prison sentence following his conviction for throwing a harmful substance over a crowd at the dance floor of nightclub Mangle E8. This action, described as ‘abhorrent’ by Jude Noel Lucas, took place in the nightclub.

For about a year following their encounter in 2016, he had a fluctuating romantic involvement with Ferne. During this time, she became pregnant with their child. Tragically, while she was expecting, he committed an acid attack.

34-year-old Fern has found a new partner in businessman Lori Haines, and together they have a 22-month-old daughter named Finty.

In the month of July 2022, they officially revealed their intention to marry, a little over half a year since they made their romantic relationship public.
