She shared with OK! Magazine: ‘There’s no need to worry, I believe Lorri is doing alright. I’m definitely not neglecting him in that way! But honestly, that’s just life, isn’t it? It’s pretty typical for couples with young kids, right? We’ve moved past that initial honeymoon phase.’

Yes, we definitely have date nights. However, after the last one, I was completely exhausted. I had a very early flight to Budapest the next morning, so I just went straight home and fell asleep – there wasn’t any intimacy that night.

It’s important to make time for and focus on being close to each other. I am really attracted to him, but the love we share has changed – it’s a different feeling as we grow and our family expands with children.

Ferne further explained that she hadn’t used any birth control either, so she restricted sexual activity to the times when she wasn’t fertile, which she admitted were ‘few and far between’, and added: ‘Poor Lorri.’

Thinking about what Lorri said about how close they are, she confessed that her habit of walking around naked at home actually makes things more difficult for him.

She jokingly said: ‘I’m a very uninhibited person. I often go around without clothes. That’s just how I’ve always been. He likely has a stronger sex drive, but what man doesn’t?‘

Lorri proposed to Ferne in July 2022 while they were on a romantic trip to France, only seven months after first getting together.

Even after over three years together, the couple hasn’t made any progress towards getting married. Ferne has admitted they ‘still have no plans to get married‘ and jokingly suggested they’re on track to have ‘the world’s longest engagement’.

Earlier this year, the Dancing On Ice star shared that she wasn’t planning to get married quickly, noting that 2025 was already looking like an important ‘big year’ for her.

Ferne believes most parents would likely agree that after having a baby, sex isn’t a priority. She also explained that her commitments – including her pets, work, and television projects – make it difficult to find the time and energy for intimacy with Lorri.

She also shared that they sleep in separate bedrooms, explaining to Closer Magazine that she felt he would ‘irritate’ her if they slept in the same bed. She maintained it was ‘healthy for our relationship’ as ‘we need our own time’.

However, by January, she stated that the couple were ‘back in the same bed’ and had been ‘rekindling their intimacy’ in their relationship.

Ferne shared: ‘When you’re a parent, self-care needs to be a top priority – it’s simple to let it fall by the wayside. Having a baby has made us incredibly busy.’
