Fern Britton, 68, looks chic in a velvet khaki blazer as she continues to show off her incredible weight loss

Fern Britton looked stylish and confident in a recent Instagram photo, continuing to showcase her impressive five-stone weight loss.

The 68-year-old former This Morning host has spoken openly about her lifelong challenges with weight, which has varied between a size 22 and a size 12.

The television personality looked stunning in a green velvet suit – a blazer and trousers – provided by Busby & Fox.

Beneath the blazer, Fern wore a white ruffled blouse neatly tucked into the high waisted trousers.

Earlier this year, Fern shared her weight loss secrets amid rumours of Ozempic usage.

She recently shared with Woman&Home magazine that people frequently ask if significant weight loss was achieved through natural means.

‘And I can look at you and say, “Yes, I have”‘.

Following shoulder surgery a few years ago, Fern thought about her experiences and resolved to prioritize her well-being.

I realized I needed to turn things around. I wanted to quit smoking and drinking, improve my diet, and stop wasting time feeling down.

She began a Couch to 5k program and drastically cut back on sugar, realizing she hadn’t paid much attention to her diet previously.

In October, Fern shared snaps from her trip to Italy for a cycling holiday.

Fern couldn’t wipe the smile off her face as she posed for a photo with a friend.

She shared a post about a wonderful trip to Italy with her close friends, the Bike Buddies. She mentioned they’ve been friends for 20 years and expressed her love for them.

Many fans commented on Fern’s impressive weight loss and how youthful she looks, with some writing things like ‘You look amazing, Fern!’

Five years ago, the presenter made her Cornish holiday home her permanent residence and has been gradually renovating it ever since.

Fern’s latest novel, ‘A Cornish Legacy’, took her two years to complete – a longer writing process than usual for her.

Fern has always loved telling stories. She published her first novel, New Beginnings, in 2011, two years after finishing her role on the television show, This Morning.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, she’s written a lot! She published Daughters of Cornwall in 2020 and The Good Servant in 2022, and her next book, A Cornish Legacy, is coming out in June.
