Fergie, 50, puts on an animated display in a yellow plaid co-ord and white crop top as she re-shoots hit 2006 music video for new Netflix series

On Tuesday, Fergie gave a lively performance when she reinterpreted her 2006 hit “London Bridge” for a fresh Netflix series.

Early this morning in London, I found myself standing alongside the legendary singer, now 50 years old, as well as the hilarious American actress, Megan Stalter. A throng of dancers were also there, adding to the electrifying atmosphere!

The song “London Bridge,” previously reaching No. 3 on the charts, is scheduled to serve as the main soundtrack for the upcoming romantic comedy titled “Too Much.

Initially, they filmed at Tower Bridge instead of London Bridge, but eventually, she successfully located the correct landmark, which is London Bridge.

On the special event, Fergie appeared stunning in a coordinated set of yellow and pink tartan, which she teamed with a white cropped top that subtly revealed a peek of her black bra.

At the gathering, Fergie was quite a sight to behold, wearing an eye-catching combination of yellow and pink plaid in a matching coordinated outfit. She added a touch of modern flair with a white crop top that hinted at her black bra underneath.

She teamed the look with chic white oval sunglasses and a stylish bag shaped like a stereo.

She adorned herself with large, golden hoop earrings, letting her long, golden hair cascade freely behind her as she confidently walked.

In a vibrant yellow fur coat at some point, Fergie seemed cheerful and energetic. She delivered an outstanding performance during filming sessions for the project when cameras were rolling.

During breaks, she could often be spotted chuckling with Megan, whose appearance suggested she had stepped off the set of St. Trinian’s film.

Too Much has been created by Girls writer Lena Dunham and lands on the popular streamer in July.

It follows Jessica (Megan), a New Yorker who heads to London in the wake of a painful breakup.

At that location, Jessica encounters Felix, played by Will Sharpe. Their bond develops unexpectedly for Jessica, yet it’s too compelling to dismiss, hints the plot summary.

Actress Emily Ratajkowski is set to join forces with Richard E. Grant from Saltburn and model-actress Adwoa Aboah for a forthcoming drama.

Rita Wilson, Rhea Perlman, and Stephen Fry also have a stint.

After Lena, the show’s producer, clarified her decision to cast Megan rather than herself for the leading role in her semi-autobiographical 10-episode comedy series, it became clear why she made that choice.

The producer-star of Treasure expressed to The New Yorker last July that they didn’t want another encounter similar to what they had with their HBO series, Girls, given where they are in their life currently.

I wasn’t psychically prepared for another surgery on my body, so I had to make a difficult decision not to cast Meg, despite wanting her. The idea that success means persistence without regard for others’ opinions is something I once held, but I’ve come to realize that true success involves safeguarding oneself and doing what’s necessary to continue creating work.

Lena went on saying, “I recall gazing at Meg and thinking, ‘You are my source of inspiration. You motivate me daily to write numerous pages when I get home.’ Definitely, I don’t wish to act as my own inspiration.

Lena observed that there wasn’t a big surprise, as she had always known she wouldn’t be the main attraction.

I’ve been pondering over something intriguing: Why do complex TV characters portrayed by women receive acceptance, recognition, and empathy? I believe Meg’s character exudes an authenticity that resonates deeply. Instead of a ‘resting bitch face,’ she embodies what one might call a ‘resting angel face.’

She went on to say: ‘Meg is among the attractive ladies here today. She’s strikingly attractive, not in the recently popularized way of being extremely thin due to Ozempic or other means. What matters to me is that there be a romantic relationship between a man and a woman where her size doesn’t dictate their connection…We made it clear that we didn’t want our production to be perceived as a show featuring a handsome man doing a favor for someone…Instead, we wanted to emphasize a genuine love story without the focus on one person’s physical attributes.’

Nevertheless, the star assumes a modest role in Too Much, portraying the partner of the character acted by Andrew Rannells. Previously, he was known for his role as Hannah Horvath’s gay friend Elijah in Girls.

‘I’m in the show! I think I just accidentally revealed that,’ Lena confirmed.

‘But it’s a smaller part. Not a walk-on, but it’s not a lead.’
