What’s really exciting is that you can play as Napoleon, commanding his forces, or take control of the countries fighting against him. You’ll lead huge armies in incredibly detailed 3D battles on land and at sea. As a fan of history and this game, I’m especially eager to change the outcome of Napoleon’s defeats, or even relive the Battle of Waterloo as Britain or France.
Players can relive iconic campaigns and historic conquests with refined improvements
The Campaigns of the Coalition are a great time, and I’m excited that the Peninsular Campaign is now part of the base game, allowing players to liberate Iberia. Napoleon’s Battles offer immersive experiences of his most famous campaigns. What’s more, the addition of four new playable factions – Spain, Portugal, Denmark, and the Ottoman Empire – makes the game even more enjoyable.
If you’re familiar with the Total War series, this game feels like a solid and welcome entry. It boasts updated visuals with new effects, improved 19th-century weaponry, a customized interface, and several helpful quality-of-life changes. Plus, it fully supports keyboard and mouse controls, making for an enjoyable – though somewhat expensive – experience.
Total War: Napoleon will be available on Android and iOS devices starting December 2nd for $14.99. You can pre-register on the App Store now, and Android users will be able to sign up soon. We’ll share more information as it becomes available!
