David Beckham’s mother was seen leaving a family dinner carrying a snack, after his parents celebrated his recent knighthood at a private party on Tuesday night.

After finally receiving the recognition he deserved, the former footballer, age 50, celebrated with close friends and family at a gathering held at the Chelsea restaurant owned by his friend, Gordon Ramsay.

David’s parents, Ted and Sandra, ages 77 and 76 respectively, were present at Windsor Castle to see King Charles greet their son.

Oh my gosh, it was such a late night! They were all celebrating for hours, and I just had to watch them leave. It was so sweet seeing his mom, Sandra, grab a little something to eat for the ride home – she’s amazing, just like him!

She looked effortlessly chic in a classic black blazer, paired with black straight-leg trousers and heels.

Meanwhile, Ted also opted for a black suit, which he paired with a white shirt and smart shoes. 

David’s parents separated in 2002 after being married for 33 years. The divorce took a long time because they couldn’t reach an agreement about how to divide their money and property.

After the divorce, David and his father were seldom seen together. It became obvious that David supported his mother, and he was frequently photographed with her at family events and work-related appearances.

Ted was excluded from things, as David still seemed upset that he’d published a biography about his son – the England captain – without his approval.

Despite David and Ted resolving their differences, David’s parents remained distant until a shared friend’s passing last year helped them reconnect.

The funeral of longtime Manchester United administrator Kath Phipps brought the family together. In a rare display of togetherness, David, Sandra, Ted, and his wife Hilary—a lawyer he’d been married to for three years—were all photographed entering the church as a group.

Sir David said Tuesday’s knighthood was a very emotional moment for him, as he looked back on his incredible accomplishment.

Oh my gosh, it was EVERYTHING to see Lady Victoria and the three younger kids – Romeo, Cruz, and little Harper – all there to celebrate him! It just warmed my heart. It’s a little sad Brooklyn couldn’t make it, but honestly, seeing the rest of the family together was more than enough. I’m just so happy for him and his beautiful family!

Sources say the 26-year-old chef never congratulated his father on finally achieving his lifelong dream.

Brooklyn was busy promoting his hot sauce brand at the same time David received his knighthood.

Brooklyn reportedly dedicated his time to promoting his Cloud23 hot sauce and avoided discussing his family.

According to The Sun, Brooklyn Beckham hasn’t been speaking to his father recently due to a painful family disagreement.

David described his busy day as deeply emotional, saying it brought him to tears.

Today was a really emotional day – honestly, more heartwarming than stressful. There were some tears, but mostly just a lot of strong feelings. It was a truly special day, and something our whole family can feel proud of.

He shared that having his parents and wife present to celebrate with his children made the day incredibly emotional.

Oh my goodness, to be recognized by the King himself! He’s just… the most graceful, refined man, and representing the Royal Family? It’s honestly the ultimate honour, coming from the most prestigious institution in the world. I’m absolutely thrilled just thinking about it!
