Fears for Kyle Sandilands as he vanishes from radio show after shock health scare: ‘I think I’ve had a stroke’

On Thursday, Kylie Sandilands was conspicuously missing from the KIIS FM breakfast show, following an announcement made on air earlier in the week about experiencing a stroke.

As a devoted admirer, I found myself in an unexpected position during the Kyle & Jackie O show on Tuesday. At 54, I’m facing a challenging health battle with a brain aneurysm, and I confessed that I felt my words seemed less precise during the initial hour of the broadcast.

On Wednesday, Kyle returned to the airwaves, once more joining his regular co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, following the completion of their latest episode.

During Tuesday’s radio show, the outspoken host suddenly announced, “I believe I’ve suffered a stroke,” following his usual ‘Tradie V Lady’ segment.

He mentioned feeling like he had chosen the incorrect phrases on several occasions this morning, but assured he isn’t overly fatigued.

Jackie, unsure whether Kyle was joking, defended her on-air partner.

‘No, you haven’t,’ she assured her co-host.

Kyle then explained he had messed up reading an announcement about a prize for the quiz.

In the show, a producer concurred, pointing out that earlier, Kyle had mistakenly used ‘mattock’ instead of ‘Matlock’.

Daily Mail has contacted the show for comment.

It comes after Kyle revealed a major milestone in his health journey.

After undergoing a health regimen following his revelation about the brain aneurysm in February, the radio personality shared his recent progress on KIIS FM’s The Kyle & Jackie O Show, following a week of workouts and diet adjustments.

During the radio broadcast, Jackie, aged 50, encouraged listeners about Kyle’s plan to make small, incremental progress, a lightheartedly named initiative referred to as “Kyle’s Gradual Progress Group.” This phrase is intended to inspire those battling with weight issues.

A little over a week ago, Fatso Club was launched with the intention of offering manageable steps for those who are significantly overweight, making the journey more achievable.

As an overly enthusiastic admirer, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news! A week ago, I was tipping the scales at a staggering 139.7 kilos. But, oh boy, I’ve been making some incredible lifestyle changes and now, I can’t help but gush about the results! The scales showed a new figure, and let me tell you, it’s a number that fills me with unbridled joy! Stay tuned for more updates on this transformative journey.

In his admission, he said, “I haven’t actually lost anything yet, but I’m still determined to proceed.” As he stepped onto the scale.

“Jackie let out a surprised exclamation upon seeing the outcome, and then shared that Kyle had unexpectedly gained 137.3 kg in weight.

‘You’ve lost over two kilos in one week!’ she added, which was met with applause from the studio.

‘I’m actually quite impressed with myself,’ Kyle replied, clearly chuffed with his progress.

Jackie added: ‘Be impressed because it’s impressive.’

In February, this well-known figure shared with their audience that they’d been diagnosed with a brain aneurysm, leading to an overwhelming display of sympathy and encouragement from fans.

Last Friday, I learned from my healthcare professionals that I have a brain aneurysm, implying it’s a serious condition. They emphasized the urgency for prompt medical intervention, which involves brain surgery.

“My physician warned me that neglecting treatment could have been fatal. A lifestyle dominated by cocaine use and wild parties, it seems, is a path best avoided.

He revealed his doctor had banned him from cocaine, masturbation, heavy lifting and stress.
