Fearne Cotton, Rob Beckett and David Walliams lead stars arriving at Oasis’ Wembley gig as Gallagher brothers’ kick off first London show in 16 years

Fearne Cotton looked raring to go as she eagerly arrived at Oasis’ first gig at Wembley on Friday.

Many well-known individuals flocked to the city to witness Noel and Liam Gallagher’s legendary comeback performance in London, marking their first concert in more than 16 years.

Following several concerts at Heaton Park in Manchester, the rock and roll legends led by the Gallagher siblings performed at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium.

Enthusiasts arrived at the location a full 12 hours prior to the event’s commencement, shelling out a minimum of £151 per ticket. However, certain individuals splurged significantly more, with some purchasing tickets for as much as £564 or even higher, snagging the premium seats.

Last August, the band made public their long-awaited tour schedule for a reunion, following Noel’s departure in 2009 due to a fight backstage during the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.

They’re back for a show at Wembley for the first time since their Dig Out Your Soul tour on July 12, 2009. In other words, it’s been a while since they played there!

For five upcoming events, the group shared detailed door and performance times on their Instagram, providing a comprehensive schedule from 5 pm onwards when the event begins.

The night kicked off from 6pm with the rock band Cast, followed by singer Richard Ashcroft at 7pm.

Oasis then took to the stage for a two-hour set at 8.15pm.

The touring group commenced their Oasis Live ’25 world tour on the Fourth of July at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, earning exceptional ratings from critics at The Guardian, The Telegraph, and The Times.

The group has notably held a strong position on the UK’s album rankings, boasting three top-five albums, as confirmed by the Official Charts Company.

During the event’s reunion, while many spectators expressed excitement, others were infuriated when they found that certain standard tickets in the UK and Ireland had significantly increased from £148 to £355.

In 1993, Oasis joined the independent record label, Creation Records. They gained widespread popularity following the launch of their first number-one album, Definitely Maybe, on August 29, 1994.

Among their many hits were tunes such as “Don’t Turn Away from Wrath,” “Sparkling Cosmos,” “If You Were Here (My Dear C-H-E-E-R-S),” and “Endure Eternally.

The band’s most recent studio album, “Dig Out Your Soul,” was unveiled in the year 2008, mere months prior to the infamous incident in Paris.
