EA SPORTS FC Mobile 26 is getting a big update called “The World’s Game,” which will focus on international football with a World Cup theme. The update includes new ways to play, fresh features, and different game modes. It’s set to launch on June 4, with some server maintenance happening beforehand on May 28, 2026.
The World’s Game mode adds more than 50 authentic National Teams to FC Mobile 26
We’re excited to announce the World’s Game Tournament! You can manage one of over 50 real national teams. This new mode is based on the upcoming international football season and will feature national squads alongside our regular club content.
A new update is coming to #FCMobile! Maintenance will begin on May 28th at 00:55 UTC and is expected to take about 4.5 hours. You won’t be able to log in during this time. Once the update is complete, come back to receive a Draft Voucher and 500 Star Shards.

The console update for FC 26 includes realistic stadiums and a full tournament mode, but FC Mobile will primarily focus on the tournament experience itself and how players advance within it. It won’t be adding the detailed stadium features.
Before the update goes live, EA is holding a special livestream on YouTube to show off all the new features. The stream will cover details about the World’s Game Tournament, Quick Match, PlayStyles, and the newest UTOTS content.
Let’s talk about what’s coming up. Looking back at the World Cup, FC Mobile really embraced the international football spirit with its mid-season update for the FIFA World Cup 2022.
The previous game had full licensing, including official FIFA branding, World Cup imagery, authentic national team uniforms, special player editions, and real stadiums. Unfortunately, the license for the FIFA World Cup 2026 isn’t included this time. However, we can still expect a lot of new content, like themed player packs and events, with the Event Pass being a key feature.
