FC Mobile 25 Thunderstruck Event Description
Event Duration: January 9th – January 23rd (14 Days)
FC Mobile 25 Thunderstruck Event Flow
Main
To start with, “Thunderstruck” is a small event, and it’s one of the best mini-events in the game that we’ve seen for quite some time. Every day, you’ll log into the main interface where you can pick from two skill games or an AI match based on PvE, or just the AI match to earn coins and Thunderstruck Pass Points. Completing either option will reward you with Thunderstruck Tokens.
In this area, you can accumulate Thunderstruck Coins by participating in matches, either the Daily Matches or Skill Games. Alternatively, take on the role of a Thunder Striker and navigate close to the storm’s border. Every day, there’s an advertisement available to watch for extra Thunderstruck Coins as well, located within this section.
On the right side of the screen, you’ll find a series of rewards called “Milestones.” These are earned as you accumulate Thunderstruck Tokens during the event. The way these milestones offer rewards is similar to the Reward Path from the CONMEBOL Libertadores event. Instead of earning rewards by progressing along the path, you collect Thunderstruck Tokens and receive rewards based on the number of tokens collected.
Indeed, this journey isn’t about using “Thunderstruck Tokens,” but rather accumulating them. By overcoming challenges, you can exchange your efforts for exceptional prizes. Along the way, you’ll encounter “Coins,” “Gems,” unique “Thunderstruck Players” who cannot be traded, and a prestigious player known as “Mascheranos” in the Milestone Reward Path. The grand reward at the end of this path is an untradeable “102-105 OVR Thunderstruck Player.
On the far right side of the section, you’ll find a place called “Lucky Strike”. Here, you can exchange your accumulated Thunderstruck Tokens for Coins, Gems, and Training Transfer Points. By pressing the “Lightning” button, you can call upon lightning to double the reward you receive, but remember, you can only boost one type of resource at a time depending on your luck. Give it a try and summon the lightning for your reward!
Live Thunderclash
In the last tab labeled “Live Thunderclash,” previously, all event-exclusive players were shown. However, there’s a change this time around. Unlike before, these players aren’t just obtainable through “Packs” where you might get them if luck is on your side, but they can also be acquired using “Thunderstruck Shards.
In this game event, there are three groups of players, each with an Overview Rating (OVR) between 103 and 105. These players cannot be traded but can be obtained depending on the number of Shards you collect during the event. Additionally, there’s a section labeled “More” where you can exchange your accumulated Thunderstruck Shards for Coins, Training Transfer Points, or even Universal Rank Player – Mascherano if the Thunderstruck players don’t appeal to you.
Furthermore, remember that these players are current in-game versions (Live OVR) from previous events. If their team wins the game, they will receive an upgrade! Join this electrifying event to enhance your team by trading Thunderstruck Shards for Live OVR players. Each of these powerful players has specific conditions they can meet over five matches to earn up to a +2 OVR boost, as well as a +1 Skill Moves and +1 Weak Foot upgrade! Choose a player and watch the lightning clash unfold!
On the far right side of the screen, you’ll find a section called “Thunderstruck Shard Marketplace.” Here, if you happen to get any Thunderstruck event Players, you can trade them in for Thunderstruck Shards. Consequently, you can obtain Thunderstruck Shards either by trading players or through the shard marketplace. In turn, these Thunderstruck event Players can be traded back for Thunderstruck Shards.
In the given scenario, the trades are quite engaging, as they center around swapping Thunderstruck event Players exclusively for Thunderstruck Shards. To illustrate further, if you decide to part with a 105 OVR Thunderstruck event Player, whether it’s tradeable or not, and it doesn’t fit your team strategy, you will receive 200 Thunderstruck Shards in return. These shards can then be used at a later time to acquire a player more fitting for your squad.
Keep in mind that you have two options to secure Thunderstruck event players: one is purchasing them from the Market, and another is buying the Gem Pack offers available in the Store which cost between 2500-3000 Gems. However, please note that these players are untradeable, meaning you won’t be able to sell them on the market for a profit.
Thunderstruck Pass
Just like other mini-events, t a Free Pass and a Paid Pass, with the latter offering more benefits.
Additionally, the Thunderstruck Pass offers resources for the event. Advance through the Thunderstruck Pass to collect Thunderstruck Players, Universal Rank Players, FC Points, Gems, Training Transfer Points, Coins, and a special player pre-ranked 107 OVR ST Patrick Kluivert from the Thunderstruck Star Pass!

- Earn them by completing the Thunder Tactics Skill Games and Matches from the Main tab
- Spend them to unlock and claim the Milestone Rewards in the Main tab

- Collect them to claim Thunderstruck event players or Rewards in the Live Thunderclash tab

Initially, it’s important to note that you cannot obtain the “Thunderstruck” Live OVR event Players from the “Live Thunderclash” Tab by using your “Thunderstruck Tokens”. Instead, to acquire players, you will need “Thunderstruck Shards”.

Based on what we’ve discussed, it’s important to note that if you choose any of the Thunderstruck Players, you won’t be able to gather the necessary Thunderstruck Shards because they can’t be earned through the event play. To obtain these shards, you’ll have to participate in Shard Exchanges, which essentially means trading your Thunderstruck event Players for Thunderstruck Shards. The number of Tokens you receive depends on the Overall Ranking Value (OVR) of the Thunderstruck player you trade.

In the table provided, trading a 105 OVR Thunderstruck event player earns you 200 Thunderstruck Shards. Yet, when claiming the same 105 OVR Thunderstruck event player, it costs anywhere between 450 to 530 Thunderstruck Shards instead.
As a fan, I found myself puzzled at first about why someone would exchange these players from the Thunderstruck event or Gem Packs/Main chapter since they couldn’t be used anywhere. However, it becomes clear that exchanging them for Shards is the rational choice since there’s no other way to use them.
Instead, you also have the option to purchase “Thunderstruck event Players” from the market. If you prefer using gems, there are two attractive packs available. One of them offers a 100-105 OVR untradeable Thunderstruck event Player for 3000 gems, while another provides a 99-105 OVR untradeable Thunderstruck event Player for 2500 gems.
To obtain a Thunderstruck Player with an Overview Rating (OVR) minimum of 104, you’ll need at least 230 Thunderstruck Shards. Since each shard costs around 1000 Gems, that means you’ll require approximately 80,000 Gems in total. This amount is roughly 40 times the number of gems found in the 99-105 OVR Gem Packs, and even with some poor luck, it would still take quite a bit to accumulate that many gems.
As a gamer, I can grab my preferred Thunderstruck Players with an Overview Rating ranging from 103 to 105, straight from the event – as long as I’ve got enough Gems saved up!
For a player rated 105 OVR, the number of gems needed tends to grow at an extremely fast rate. Alternatively, consider utilizing the Universal Rank Player – Mascherano and Training Transfer Points if none of the Thunderstruck players suit your team. These players are top-tier and ideal for end-game play, so use your gems thoughtfully in making your decision.
Lucky Strike
To wrap things up, don’t overlook the crucial chapter. You’re in line for a good number of Gems, Coins, and 2x Universal Rank Player – Mascheranos from the Milestone rewards. However, that’s not all! Based on your fortune, you may also acquire a considerable amount of resources from the Lucky Strike, which could potentially accumulate to a substantial amount of Coins, Gems, and Training Transfer Points.
Standing to win at least 2000 Gems and 5 million Coins every day, you’ll find that the event preceding “Team of the Year,” the upcoming major release, provides a consistent flow of resources.
Maximize your Mascherano from the event
In FC Mobile, the Thunderstruck event has introduced a new addition – Mascheranos, and there are quite a few of them up for grabs. You can get a Mascherano from the Milestone Rewards in the Main chapter, once you’ve accumulated 1200 Thunderstruck Tokens.
This version tries to simplify the text by using easier-to-understand language and breaking it down into simpler sentences.
When you visit the Live Thunderclash tab, you’ll find that there are roughly 3 Mascherano cards waiting for you. Instead of focusing on the Thunderstruck event Players or Training Transfer Points, consider going for the Universal Rank Player – Mascherano. Moreover, there are usually 2 Mascheranos available on the Free side of the Thunderstruck Pass, making the total number of Mascheranos you can get during this event around 5 to 6.
FC Mobile 25 Thunderstruck Event Players
In summary, the FC Mobile 25 Thunderstruck event is the main focus here. There isn’t much else to discuss about this particular event. The necessary calculations are provided for you, so feel free to use them as you see fit and plan accordingly. Essentially, what I’m saying is to participate in the event daily, grind it out consistently.
These are new and improved versions of the mini-events we haven’t encountered before, and they’re not purely dependent on luck. This time, you have the opportunity to strategize and work towards acquiring a player. Yes, it’s your choice this time, and it looks promising!
To sum it up, Thunderstruck is a demanding event due to its resource requirements. Even if you choose to disregard the player aspect, there are still some valuable rewards like Coins and Gems available from Rewards, Lucky Strike, and the Mini-Pass. Moreover, with Team of the Year (TOTY) arriving this month, Thunderstruck offers a chance to accumulate sufficient resources for what’s to come. Important to mention is that Thunderstruck lasts for 14 days, not 38 – this pertains only to Live OVR players.
