Intro
As has been the case this season, the first tab, the Intro Tab, in this case, acts as a guide to the other chapters and the overall event. It’s not functional and redirects to other tabs, including the CODE: NEON Quests, Challenge Mode, Exchanges, and Store Offers.
Therefore, the Intro tab is the place to easily navigate to different game modes where you can earn Rewards related to the event. Besides, this Intro Tab showcases three Missions that you can complete throughout the event and earn Rewards. The Rewards include Coins, Neon Shards, and two Universal Rank Player – Mascheranos with the CODE: NEON Stadium available as a Mission Completion Reward!
Main
In the Main Tab, where you will log in each day and play through a series of two Skill Games and one PvE AI-based Matches to earn Neon Tokens every day in the Daily Training section. Earn Neon Tokens by completing matches or skill games. There’s a CODE: NEON Pack as well that offers you additional Neon Tokens after completing the Daily Training Skill Games and Matches.
You’ll find a reward station nearby where you can gather Neon Tokens to claim prizes such as Coins, Neon Shards, and the Universal Rank Player – Mascherano. Collecting Neon Tokens will also help you progress towards unlocking the CODE: NEON Kit, which becomes accessible after participating in Daily Training Skill Games and Matches a total of fifteen times.
Next, similar to the Winter Wonders event, you can check the Weekly Path of Skill Games and Matches which is just on the right-hand side of the Daily Training section. The Weekly Path is a pretty long path that allows you to play through a series of Skill Games and Matches rewarding you with additional Neon Tokens, Gems, Neon Shards, and Universal Rank Player – Mascherano.
You can progress along the path by beginning with the Match and Skill Challenges, which will help you accumulate Neon Coins. Finish Skill Challenges and Matches to collect extra CODE: NEON Coins. Keep in mind that the Daily Practice area renews every day, while the four Paths open up one at a time over the course of the four-week event.
Rewards
Gallery
In the “Gallery Tab” section you will find all the players who have been exclusive to previous events. However, this time there’s a twist similar to the “Team of the Year” event. These players are not just available in packs if your luck is good; they can also be obtained using a new currency called “Neon Shards”.
There are three sets of players ranging between 105-107 OVR and all of them are untradeable with new players arriving every week. Provided on the amount of Shards you accumulate over the event, you can get them. Exchange extra CODE: NEON Players for Neon Shards.
New Players will be available weekly in the Gallery tab of the CODE: NEON event! Head over to the Gallery to find all Player Items that were added that week. Additionally, there is a Daily Bonus pack that offers Coins, Gems, or 70-97 OVR Players. Don’t expect anything more than some elites at max from this week.
Similar to the TOTY (Team of the Year) event, there is an Exchange Store as well on the further right-hand side where you can exchange your CODE: NEON event Players should you manage to pull any. Therefore, TOTY Shards can be earned through player exchange and used to exchange for specific players. In return, you can exchange CODE: NEON event Players for Neon Shards.
The exchanges are very interesting and involve trading in CODE: NEON event Players solely for Neon Shards. So from the below image, if you exchange a 105 CODE: NEON event Player tradeable or untradeable that you don’t find suitable for your squad, you will get 120 Neon Shards back which you can later utilize to get a player suitable for your team.
Do note that you can perform the above exchanges, you can get CODE: NEON event players either from the Market or by buying the Gem Pack offers from the Store for 2500-3000 Gems. But do remember whichever player you are targeting from the event will be untradeable and you can’t sell it in the market for a profit.
Challenge Mode
Well since this is not a mini-event, there will be a Challenge Mode as well! The Challenge Mode is exactly like the previous event ie a rehash of previous events. The only difference is you will be getting a chance at players from higher OVR but you still won’t be getting any CODE: NEON-specific currencies.
There will be both Daily and Weekend-special Challenge modes that hand out Players, Gems, and Coins. Since there are no H2H or Division Rivals matches involved, therefore it should be fairly easy to win. Don’t forget to check out the Weekend Challenge where you can earn up to 100-107 OVR Players!
Star Pass
Absolutely, the Star Pass is functioning side by side with the ongoing event. The Star Pass contains in-game resources that you can utilize. By finishing Quests during the event, you can advance your Star Pass level, which grants rewards like Coins, Gems, Training Transfer Points, FC Points, and other Cosmetic items such as Emotes and Kits.
Not only are there currencies exclusive to events in the Star Pass, but this time around you can also gather Neon Shards from it! You can get Neon Shards from both the free and premium versions of the Star Pass. Of course, purchasing the Premium Star Pass will grant you a much larger quantity of Neon Shards.
Don’t forget to check out the newest CODE: NEON-themed Star Pass that is available at launch, including a 108 OVR pre-ranked CB Abdukodir Khusanov. So don’t forget your daily quests to progress through the Star Pass! Earning Star Pass Credits will unlock more rewards along the Star Pass path. There are two tiers to the Star Pass: free and premium. You can also use FC Points to move faster through Star Pass levels and collect rewards faster.

Running the Math for F2P Players
As per our calculations, the following sums up the chances for F2P Players.
Resource Management
Neon Tokens | |
Daily Training | 3500 |
Weekly Path | 6250 |
Watch Ads | 2100 |
Neon Quest | 1000 |
Total | 18100 |
Since the Challenge Mode does not give out Neon Tokens, therefore further tokens can’t be obtained from there But if you have extra TOTY Icon Tokens from the past you can trade them at an Exchange Rate of 2x TOTY Icon Tokens for 1x Neon Token with a total of 300 times ie 600 TOTY Icon Tokens for 300 Neon Tokens. If we keep that aside, then from simply playing the event, one can easily accumulate a total of:
You can get at least a minimum of 14960 Neon Tokens from playing the event
Also, you can earn additional Neon Tokens by exchanging Universal Tokens at an Exchange Rate of 5x Universal Tokens for 1x Neon Token with a total of 400 times ie 2000 Universal Tokens for 400 Neon Tokens Daily. Therefore if you stress on earning Universal Tokens from Daily Chronicles and by grinding the VSA, H2H, and Manager mode matches, you can gain an advantage in acquiring Vote Tickets daily.
FC Mobile 25 CODE: NEON Event Tips and Tricks
In NEON, there’s plenty of grinding to do each day, with skill-based games and matches available in FC Mobile 25. Here are some extra strategies and hints to maximize your enjoyment during the event. It took us time to gather these insights and crunch the numbers, so let’s delve into the details below.
Now tips for the event. Play everything. Be excited that there’s no event energy or stamina involved anymore in the new season. We’re not dealing with the constant fear of energy getting wasted and full and neither has there been a single ad since the game was released. So yes, definitely enjoy it while you can.
CODE: NEON Gallery Players
Initially, you can’t obtain any Neon Players from the Gallery Tab with your Neon Tokens. Instead, to acquire players, you’ll require Neon Shards.
CODE: NEON Player Reward | Neon Shards Required |
---|---|
103 OVR Untradeable CODE: NEON Player | 100-200 |
104 OVR Untradeable CODE: NEON Player | 200-500 |
105 OVR Untradeable CODE: NEON Icon or Player | 300-800 |
106 OVR Untradeable CODE: NEON Icon or Player | 500-1000 |
107 OVR Untradeable CODE: NEON Icon or Player | 750-1500 |
From the above, we can understand that should you go for any of the higher-rated CODE: NEON Players, you will fall short of the required Neon Shards, given you can’t actually earn them from playing the event. Now to get the Shards, you will need to perform the Shard Exchanges ie trading in CODE: NEON Players for Neon Shards. The Tokens vary based on the CODE: NEON player OVR you exchange for.
CODE: NEON Player OVR | Neon Shards Obtained |
---|---|
107 OVR CODE: NEON Player | 250 |
106 OVR CODE: NEON Player | 180 |
105 OVR CODE: NEON Player | 120 |
104 OVR CODE: NEON Player | 60 |
103 OVR CODE: NEON Player | 30 |
100-102 OVR CODE: NEON Player | 10 |
98-99 OVR CODE: NEON Player | 5 |
In the table provided, you receive 120 Neon Shards by trading a 105 OVR CODE: NEON Player. Conversely, when you claim the same 105 OVR CODE: NEON Player, it requires between 300 and 800 Neon Shards.
Although it sounds baffling why someone will do the exchange in the first place, should you get any low OVR CODE: NEON Players from the Gem Packs, Star Pass, or the Nominee chapters, know that you can’t utilize them anywhere so exchanging them for Shards is the logical way.
Neon Shards Obtained (without Exchanges) | |
Road to Icon Milestone Rewards | 150 |
Nominee B Reward Path | 60 |
UTOTY Challenge 2 Rewards | 50 |
UTOTY Rewards | 200 |
Free Star Pass | 100 |
Paid Star Pass | 300 |
Total | 560-860 |
Based on the calculations, it’s clear that by participating in the entire event, you will most likely end up with at least 560 Neon Shards, without needing to participate in any Shard Exchanges. Keep in mind that this time around, the Star Pass is providing Neon Shards on both the Free and Paid tracks.
This should increase the count of Neon Shards obtained from the event and if you decide to further invest in the Star Pass, you do get a nice incentive of extra Neon Shards as well. Now, unfortunately, you are going for the 105-107 OVR CODE: NEON Players, you will need a lot more Neon Shards than that.
To negate the difference, you can buy CODE: NEON Players from the market as well and utilize them in Shard Exchanges. However, should you decide to spend Gems, two popular Packs offer a 101-107 OVR untradeable CODE: NEON Player for 3000 Gems or a 99-107 OVR untradeable CODE: NEON Player for 2500 Gems.
You’ll be able to select from the event a set of NEON Players, which have an Overview Rating (OVR) between 105 and 107, as long as you have enough Gems.
Given a decent 105 OVR CODE: NEON Player requires 500 Neon Shards minimum, you will need around 60000 Gems which is 20x of the 101-107 OVR Gem Packs with the worst possible luck. Similarly, for a 106 or 107 OVR Player, the amount of Gems required increases exponentially. The players look really solid and are end-game, therefore make your decision wisely with the Gems you have in store.
Reward Chapters
In closing, don’t neglect the CODE: NEON chapter. The benefits, including Gems, Coins, Training Transfer Tokens, Universal Rank Player – Mascherano, and CODE: NEON Players, accumulated from the Reward Chapters can be substantial. Keep in mind to use your Neon Tokens effectively!
Maximize your Mascherano from the event
The Winter Wonders event in FC Mobile has introduced two Mascheranos, which can be found in the Winter Wonders Pack Milestone within the Main chapter once you accumulate 2000 Winter Wonders Tokens. Additionally, there are free Mascheranos available; one is awarded upon completing the Winter Wonders Quests and another as a reward from the Winter Wonders Calendar on December 24th.
The benefits don’t stop at the “Road to Icon” chapter, as it offers a complimentary Mascherano every week from the “Road to Icon Rewards,” amounting to 4 in total. Additionally, if you include all three Nominee Chapters, you will earn an extra 12 free Mascheranos when considering all Milestone Rewards. Lastly, completing the TOTY Quests grants a free Mascherano as well.
You can grab a further 8x more Mascheranos each week throughout the event from the Weekend Challenge and two Lunar New Year Challenges. Additionally, you can earn 2x more Mascheranos every week from the Exchanges and a few more from the Daily Login Rewards. And if you add them all up, you can get at least 80-85 Mascheranos from just grinding the six-week-long event! This is incredible!
FC Mobile 25 CODE: NEON Event Players
That’s it the CODE: NEON Event in a nutshell. Beyond that, there isn’t a whole lot to say about this event. All the calculations are at your doorstep there, do with it what you will and plan carefully. Just play the event, every day, daily grind it out.
The events are getting better and CODE: NEON retains elements from TOTY. It’s comparatively a light event of four weeks, giving us time to calm and settle down this month of March after a long and grindy TOTY event.
Finally, we receive an event where there’s a lot to do daily and you can proceed with the goal of getting a player, without solely doesn’t depend on pack luck. Yes, you can obtain a player that you desire for your squad even if it’s untradeable.
There’s a lot to do, a lot of packs to open up, and a lot of Skill Games and Matches to grind, plus we are now getting event currencies in the Star Pass as well! Finally, we can see some moves in the right direction. If you had liked TOTY, you would love CODE: NEON! Before the event ends, it is likely your entire team will be filled with Team of the Year players. Be pumped! FC Mobile is finally getting better, even if it’s slightly!
