Having worked with artists for many years, I understand the passion and energy they put into their performances. Seeing someone like Fatman Scoop, a man who always seemed to be full of life and vigor, collapse on stage is truly heart-wrenching.
Disturbing footage showed rapper Fatman Scoop collapsing on stage during a Connecticut concert.
53-year-old artist from the band “Be Faithful” appeared to be having trouble while ascending a stage during last Friday’s show in Hamden. Afterward, he fainted.
Loud cries echoed as the rap artist, known as Isaac Freeman III, vanished from sight, triggering urgent attempts to resuscitate him.
Hamden Mayor Lauren Garett expressed that Scoop was transported to the hospital via an ambulance, and asked everyone to keep him in their thoughts and prayers.
Onlookers watched in shock as the well-loved rapper suddenly collapsed, causing the audience to fall quiet. Quickly, individuals sprinted towards the stage to administer CPR to Fatman Scoop.
At approximately 8:33 pm, officials were called to the location. They carefully carried the rapper from the venue on a stretcher and sped off to the hospital. At present, his health status is uncertain.
