As a long-time fan of both SNK and Capcom, I can hardly contain my excitement! The crossover between Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and Street Fighter is like a dream come true for me. I’ve spent countless hours playing these games since their inception, and to see Ken and Chun-Li join the roster is simply mind-blowing.
SNK has revealed that the game Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will include Ken and Chun-Li from Street Fighter as part of its Season 1 DLC after launch in 2025. This crossover is a continuation of the addition of Terry Bogard to Street Fighter 6, which was announced this week, with Mai Shiranui yet to be included.
For many years, SNK has held a great deal of respect for Capcom, a mix of sincere admiration and friendly competition, as explained by Producer Yasuyuki Oda. It’s a privilege to unite the realms of Fatal Fury and Street Fighter once more. This partnership symbolizes our connection, and we eagerly anticipate players joining us in our enthusiasm for this collaboration.
In summer 2025, Ken is scheduled to join Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves as a downloadable character (DLC) in the second slot, with the initial DLC fighter debuting within the same timeframe. Chun-Li will appear in winter 2025, following character 3, which is set for release during the fall season. Lastly, DLC character 5 is expected to launch in early 2026, concluding the planned content for Season 1 Pass.
On the 24th of April, 2025, “Fatal Fury: City of Wolves” will be released on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. The Special Edition comes with the Season 1 Pass for a price of $59.99 or €59.99.
