Fashion designer Jodhi Meares lists her fully renovated 140-year-old Sydney cottage for $5million

Oh my, the captivating life of Jodhi Meares! From marrying a billionaire at a tender age to navigating through relationships with notable personalities, she truly is a modern-day Australian Cinderella, albeit with a twist.

Jodhi Meares, James Packer’s former spouse, has placed her recently refurbished, 140-year-old Sydney cottage with historical significance up for sale at an astounding price of $5 million.

Back in 2017, I, a hopelessly devoted admirer, proudly added another masterpiece to my collection – a breathtaking abode nestled in the elite neighborhood of Watsons Bay, all mine for a cool $2.75m. The fashion designer within me couldn’t help but be ecstatic!

This beautiful two-story home, constructed in the 1880s, boasts a generously sized dining space, two expansive bedrooms on the upper floor, and a sizeable bathroom connected to it.

It has been extensively renovated and features stylish contemporary architecture adorned with exquisite eggshell paint and a large front and backyard. 

The house is ideal for families and for hosting visitors, boasting breathtaking landscapes of its picturesque surroundings as a backdrop.

Next month, it’s set for an auction. Its unique design and alluring location make it a highly appealing prospect for potential buyers.

Jodhi famously married billionaire James Packer in 1999 before splitting in 2002.

Approximately four years back, Woman’s Day published an article stating that James kept Jodhi’s number as a favorite for quick access (speed dial) and frequently reached out to her for assistance whenever he needed it.

From 2013 to 2015, she had a romantic involvement with the singer, Jon Stevens. In fact, he proposed to her during that period as well.

In May 2019, there was a brief association between Jodhi and Sydney real estate developer Michael Reid. This connection emerged when they both posted a picture together on a boat, with an intimate caption from Jodhi saying, “First Selfie”.

In just two short months, she made her romantic involvement with Dominic Purcell, known for his role in Prison Break, public.

The couple dated on-and-off before finally calling it quits in January 2020. 

Jodhi established her own thriving fashion label, The Upside, back in 2014, serving as its founding figure.
