Fashion Critical reveals personal details about her life for the first time in heartbreaking post following Bondi Beach terror attack

Fashion Critical, a social media personality known for her satirical commentary, has shared that she is Jewish and expresses her support for those affected by the recent Bondi attack on Sunday.

The influencer, known for wearing a mask, shared a message on Tuesday expressing strong support for the victims. She didn’t hold back when responding to those who criticized her for taking a stance, calling out accusations of her being ‘political’.

Okay, so after what happened in Sydney – that awful attack on our community – I just had to say something. I’m Jewish and Australian, and I posted messages showing support for everyone affected. But then I noticed something crazy… my follower count started dropping! I was left wondering, why does simply showing support for my people suddenly make everything ‘political’?

If anyone feels uncomfortable being part of this community due to my ethnicity or religion, please leave. I don’t want or need your presence here.

I’m losing followers because I spoke out in support of those affected by the recent terror attack here. To be blunt, if you disagree with that stance, unfollow me.

She clarified that condemning the terrorists’ hateful beliefs and expressing grief for the victims weren’t political acts.

She stated that pointing out the horrific consequences of unchecked antisemitism – including violence, murder, and fear – is not a political act, especially when those consequences are directly experienced, as they were for her.

Offering support to those affected isn’t a political statement. Now I’m seeing people unfollow me, and that’s fine. I’m Jewish and Australian, and if that’s a problem for you, that’s okay with me.

Fashion Critical is a popular, anonymous social media personality known for her witty and insightful reviews of red carpet fashion, from events like the Brownlow Medal to the Met Gala and many others.

Millennial women adore her self-deprecating style.

She’s not as mean-spirited as older gossip magazines, but she’s still witty enough to let you enjoy a good laugh at some truly questionable fashion choices you often see on ‘worst dressed’ lists.

Men also don’t get off scot-free, with uninspired suits drawing comparisons to David Koch.

And she has celebrity fans too – including Alex Perry and Monica Lewinsky.

Fashion Critical is actually Dani Lombard, a public relations expert who runs her own agency, Stark Raven, located in Mosman. Fans had always suspected she was a PR professional.

On Sunday evening, Naveed Akram, 24, and his father, Sajid, 50, opened fire on a Hanukkah celebration near Bondi Pavilion, causing people to scream and run for safety from a footbridge connecting Campbell Parade to the pavilion.

Australia experienced its second deadliest mass shooting, claiming the lives of fifteen people, including a 10-year-old girl named Matilda.

Among those tragically killed were Rabbi Eli Schlanger, 41, who was born in Britain and served the Chabad community, Rabbi Yaakov Levitan, 39, French citizen Dan Elkayam, 27, and Alex Kleytman, a Holocaust survivor. Also lost were Tibor Weitzen, a devoted husband and father, Reuven Morrison, who worked at the Wellington Street synagogue, 82-year-old Marika Pogany from Slovakia, retired police detective Peter Meagher, and Boris Gurman, 69, along with his wife, Sofia, 61, and Edith Brutman.

Naveed is still hospitalized and under police watch after being shot by police officers. He regained consciousness on Tuesday after being in a coma.

His father Sajid, a licensed firearms holder, was shot dead by police.
