As a dedicated follower and admirer of Sharon Osbourne’s journey through life, I cannot help but feel concern seeing her recent appearance. Her thin frame and stern expression, coupled with the stories of her struggle to regain weight after stopping Ozempic, have stirred up emotions in me that go beyond mere observation.

Two days ago, while out shopping at an exclusive fashion store in Beverly Hills, Sharon Osbourne’s surprising look fueled renewed worries among her supporters.

With a slim figure and a serious demeanor, she perused the department store, just under two miles from her Los Angeles residence, carrying a stylish, coffee-hued shopping bag in hand.

Today, The Mail uncovers concerns not limited to online viewers regarding her petite figure: those near to her are similarly expressing anxiety for her wellbeing. Friends claim that ever since she opted for the weight-loss injection Ozempic last year – an open choice Sharon has made – she appears to be a mere reflection of her past self.

Initially overjoyed by her success – slimming down by 3 stone within a few months – the 72-year-old mother of three now harbors concerns that she may have pushed herself too hard.

A key aspect of her attire stood out – she wore a long-sleeved cream top and accessorized it with a casual, loose-fitting brown woolen shawl draped across her shoulders.

According to a friend, the music mogul conceals her arms due to their being uncomfortably slender, which unfortunately contributes to her feeling quite sad.

Her face, too, she regards as being ‘far too thin’, say those close to her.

Ozzy, her husband who used to sing for Black Sabbath and now has Parkinson’s disease, has shared with friends that Sharon has been eating more of her preferred high-calorie meals like roasts, burgers, and club sandwiches in an attempt to gain weight. It seems she is also continuing to indulge in her favorite drink – a glass of champagne.

Despite discontinuing Ozempic in March, Sharon hasn’t managed to regain any of the lost weight. According to a friend, they have a chef who prepares them whatever they desire, yet Sharon is struggling to gain weight. She’s making an effort to bulk up, but it’s proving challenging and she’s feeling quite frustrated as her attempts aren’t bearing fruit. She’s fully aware of how thin she appears and is keen to add pounds, but it seems like a stubborn goal that eludes her at the moment.

In truth, during her time on the ITV reality show Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, she was reportedly quite anxious about her petite figure. She found comfort in the fact that the cameras might add a bit of weight to her appearance.

People who are close to Sharon are currently pondering if Ozempic may have had a longer-term impact on her metabolic function.

She made clear that she would start using the jab (presumably a vaccine or treatment) at the beginning of 2023, and she hasn’t been keeping her decision a secret. Last year, during an interview with American broadcaster Howard Stern, she stated, “Using Ozempic for weight issues isn’t wrong, so why not discuss it openly?

Sharon, a grandmother of five, shared that she had been taking a particular drug for several months, all while maintaining a healthy diet and regular exercise. Ozempic, along with its counterpart Wegovy, is approved in the U.S. to manage type 2 diabetes but can sometimes be prescribed by doctors for weight management purposes or obtained online.

However, when Sharon began using it, as a friend of hers explains, she wasn’t anticipating such a slim appearance.

In my experience as a lifestyle expert, I’ve learned that life often doesn’t unfold the way we anticipate. Just like me, Sharon discovered that there’s no quick fix or easy solution to achieving her goals. The reality is, there’s no magic potion or free lunch in our pursuit of happiness and success. Now, she’s wisely embracing the journey, understanding that every step counts and every effort brings us closer to where we want to be.

‘It has been a lesson for her, a hard one.’

Indeed, Sharon’s experience with Ozempic has been quite challenging, leading her to advocate for caution when prescribing this medication to minors and adolescents. She fears the possibility of addiction and considers it a potentially “very risky” option for this age group.

Meanwhile, as some were concerned about Sharon’s weight, there were rumors swirling after her shopping outing suggesting she might have undergone a facelift once more.

It’s widely thought that the TV personality, mother to Aimee (age 41), Kelly (40), and Jack (39), has had four cosmetic surgeries throughout her life: one in 1987, another in 2002, a facelift focusing on her lower face in 2019, and the latest one in 2021. Her representative declined to comment on recent rumors of plastic surgery, but friends claim that she has expressed dissatisfaction with her appearance at various stages in her life.

In simpler terms, Sharon, who was already a well-known music manager with significant success under her belt, gained even more recognition on the ITV talent show X Factor in 2004 when she was 52 years old. Since then, she’s been quite open about her use of treatments aimed at combating aging.

Just recently, she expressed: ‘I’ve rarely let others’ opinions about my appearance bother me, as I’ve spent a lot to try to look appealing… I was never naturally beautiful. I wasn’t gifted that way.’ This kind of straightforward, candid viewpoint is what makes Sharon Osbourne so well-respected – and admired.

Her legions of fans hope she can return to fighting fit form, soon.
