Fantastic Four movie slight spoilers follow.
This week, the debut of “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” unveiled fresh scenes, reinforcing a popular fan speculation regarding Sue Storm.
In February, the initial trailer for the forthcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie was unveiled, leading sharp-eyed fans to speculate that actress Vanessa Kirby’s character, Sue, appeared to be walking in a way suggestive of pregnancy.
Yet, there was no visible baby bump on her, causing some to ponder if Marvel Studios may have removed it in post-production. On occasion, this movie franchise is known for presenting misleading trailers.
During this current week at CinemaCon, Marvel presented snippets of upcoming movie content (regrettably not yet made available for online viewing), consisting of a couple of short clips.
In one such scene, the primary figures gather around a family dinner, and Sue announces her delightful news – she’s pregnant! As fan theories predicted!
Comic book lore portrays Franklin Richards, the son of Sue and Reed, as one of the strongest characters. It will certainly be intriguing to watch how the Marvel Cinematic Universe handles his power.
In other parts of the recording, a female extraterrestrial, who appears to be Shalla-Bal, or the Silver Surfer, warns the Four that Earth is destined for destruction. Following this announcement, every light across the globe fades away, causing Mr. Fantastic to express uncertainty about the safety of the population but pledge his commitment to safeguard them.
Additionally, there are hidden angles showing the ominous figure of Galactus, as well as our familiar robot character H.E.R.B.I.E., and the scene where Johnny is teasing Reed.
Looking forward to a summer premiere, we eagerly anticipate sharing additional clips and previews with you soon. However, it’s worth noting that Marvel is set to debut Thunderbolts in May before us, so the spotlight may temporarily shift towards that project.
