Marvel Studios has shared a previously unseen scene from “The Fantastic Four: First Steps.” The clip, which will be available with the digital and Blu-ray release of the film, shows Ben Grimm, or The Thing, jokingly using a power sander to shave his rocky beard. It’s a funny and realistic moment that depicts the team preparing for a TV appearance on a show called “The Ted Gilbert Show,” which is inspired by the classic “Ed Sullivan Show.” The scene was first revealed to Rolling Stone.
You’ll be able to watch *The Fantastic Four: First Steps* digitally – on platforms like Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home – starting September 23, 2025. The Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K UHD versions will be available in stores on October 14, 2025. The release will include extra content like deleted scenes, a blooper reel, audio commentary, and behind-the-scenes featurettes. Special editions, including a SteelBook and a pop-up Blu-ray exclusive to Walmart, will also be available.
I’m so excited about the cast for this movie! Pedro Pascal is taking on the role of Reed Richards, aka Mister Fantastic, and Vanessa Kirby will be Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman. Joseph Quinn is playing Johnny Storm as the Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach is perfectly cast as Ben Grimm, The Thing. It’s a cool surprise that Julia Garner is going to be Shalla-Bal, who’s also the Silver Surfer! And wow, Ralph Ineson as Galactus? Amazing! Plus, Paul Walter Hauser is playing Harvey Elder, also known as the Mole Man – the whole lineup is fantastic.
Set in the 1960s during the height of the space race, First Steps brings Marvel’s Fantastic Four to life with a style that matches the classic Silver Age comics. To coincide with the November release of Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps – The Art of the Movie Deluxe Edition Slipcase – a beautiful hardcover book featuring concept art and production designs – these editions offer a connected experience.
