As Dion was touched by the heartwarming welcome, she rose to return a cheerful wave, then covered her heart with her hand.

Stiff-person syndrome is an uncommon neurological condition characterized by persistent muscle rigidity and spontaneous, often painful spasms that may grow more frequent or severe with time, as reported by Johns Hopkins Medicine.

On her Instagram, the singer openly shared that these spasms significantly impact all areas of her everyday routine.

Occasionally, walking can be challenging for me and I find it hard to sing as I’m accustomed to due to issues with my vocal cords.

Dion stated, “I’ve been putting in a lot of effort daily with my sports therapy specialist, aiming to regain my strength and performance capabilities. However, I must confess, the process has proven challenging.

The only thing I can say about myself is that I sing, something I’ve dedicated my entire life to and take great pleasure in above all else,” the mother of three elaborated further.

In an interview with Vogue last year in May, Celine shared that her happiness had returned.

She went on to say, ‘Carrying such a heavy load on my shoulders has eased significantly…as I can now concentrate solely on the real world. What a relief!’
