Fans mistake Glen Powell for TOM CRUISE after his shock goofball transformation for Chad Powers show

As a fervent admirer of the captivating world of entertainment, I find myself utterly enthralled by Glen Powell’s metamorphosis for his upcoming role in “Chad Powers.” The transformation is so remarkable that it has left me questioning whether Tom Cruise has decided to take an unexpected break from Hollywood.

The remarkable metamorphosis undergone by Glen Powell for the recently debuted satirical show, “Chad Powers,” has left viewers in a whirlwind, leading some to confuse him with Tom Cruise.

On Thursday, I was thrilled to share that I got a glimpse of the official image Hulu revealed of the actor in our upcoming comedy series. This came a day after DailyMail.com had already treated us to some sneak peeks of the actor, almost unrecognizable while on set.

In collaboration with Glen, ESPN, Hulu, and Omaha Productions, we presented a post featuring the ‘Swift thoughts, swift actions. Glen Powell takes on the role of #ChadPowers in Hulu’s fresh comedy series.’

Powell is co-creator of the upcoming half-hour comedy series, along with Michael Waldron.

It spurred from an ESPN+ sketch created by former football star Eli Manning, 43, and he will executive produce the show with Glen and Michael.

Also included in Thursday’s social media post was the original skit starring Eli as Powers.

As a former high school football coach with over two decades of experience, I have seen countless players make mistakes that could potentially derail their careers. In my opinion, the plot of this comedy resonates deeply with me. The story revolves around Russ Holliday, a hotshot quarterback whose reckless behavior jeopardizes his college career. Instead of learning from his mistakes, he decides to reinvent himself and join a struggling Southern football team under a new identity as Chad Powers.

Earlier this week, Glen was seen on the set wearing a scruffy blond wig and a bulky, artificial nose.

He also wore a mustache as filming kicked off in Atlanta, Georgia.

The muscular actor humbly emphasized his skills rather than his appearance, donning a casual blue Nike workout top, wristband, and bright yellow shorts.

The production of the show is overseen by Tony Yacenda, and features performances from Quentin Plair, Wynn Everett, Perry Mattfeld, Frankie A. Rodriguez, and Steve Zahn.

Previously this year, Powell and Waldron, two ardent college football enthusiasts, expressed in a shared statement that they are ‘unwaveringly passionate about college football.’

‘When we saw Eli as Chad Powers, we knew that was the way into a big, fun story about this world.

We’re thrilled to join this team, eagerly anticipating the moment when we can put Chad on the field. Let’s work quickly and move swiftly together.

Eli, the ex-quarterback of the New York Giants, expressed that his affection for Chad Powers has left him astonished in remarkable manners.

For sixteen years, I was a player in the NFL. Nowadays, it’s not unusual for me to hear fans shouting, “Hey Chad!”, whether I’m dining out or passing through an airport.

Speaking passionately, I exclaim, “I can hardly contain my enthusiasm! Working alongside Glen Powell, Michael Waldron, and the brilliant minds at Omaha Productions feels nothing short of a dream come true. Together, we’ll delve deeper into the captivating world of Chad Powers, eagerly anticipating what lies ahead for this unforgettable character!”

The comedic video “Eli’s Powers,” released by Omaha Productions in 2022, has amassed more than eight million views on YouTube at the present time.
