Fans go wild at what the ‘hottest’ Titanic star looks like now as actor is thrust back into spotlight

Move over, Leonardo DiCaprio – fans have crowned another star the hottest actor in Titanic.

Danny Nucci portrayed Fabrizio, an Italian man who won a journey aboard the doomed ship alongside his companion, Jack Dawson (played by Leonardo DiCaprio).

He may have played more of the sidekick to Jack, but for fans, he’s number one in their hearts.

John Wallison, a pop culture commentator, recently reminded people of Fabrizio from the movie Titanic. He asked his social media followers in January what the actor who played Fabrizio looks like now.

According to Wallison, Leonardo DiCaprio actually aspires to grow old with the same grace and vitality as Nucci, as evidenced by a recent photo he shared.

It was a message many commenters were aligned with.

‘I always thought he was more beautiful than Leonardo,’ one wrote.

‘Fabrizio was cuter than Jack. End of story lol,’ another posted.

‘he was the real Jack,’ another said.

‘I always thought he was hotter than Leo!’

‘Fabrizio was damn hot,’ one posted.

‘That dude could take me to the back seat anytime. He was beautiful,’ another said.

Members of the subreddit ‘Vintage Lady Boners’ also agreed.

‘Such a FACE,’ the author noted.

Fabrizio, a young Italian man, won his way onto the Titanic in a last-minute poker game just as the ship was leaving. Originally, the movie featured him in a more significant role.

Nucci was devastated to see so much of his performance cut from the final version of Titanic when he watched the premiere.

He told Vanity Fair that his initial reaction was overwhelmingly about simply seeing it. After a second viewing, he was able to fully appreciate the impressive scale of what Jim had accomplished, calling it ‘pretty amazing’.

Fabrizio died during the Titanic’s sinking, struggling to swim to safety when he was hit by one of the ship’s smokestacks.

However, the story begins with the character being set up to be killed, following a conflict with the villain Cal (Billy Zane).

Fabrizio survived the sinking and desperately swam to Cal’s lifeboat, pleading with him to be rescued so he could reach America.

However Cal strikes him on the head with an oar and tells him, ‘It’s that way.’

He remembered thinking, ‘As I drifted off, the lifeboat gradually faded into the grayness.’ He’d been initially drawn to that scene, but after watching the film, he realized it simply prolonged Cal’s unpleasantness. ‘We already know Cal is a terrible person,’ he explained.

That famous scene with DiCaprio, where he shouted ‘I’m the king of the world!’, definitely made the final cut. However, filming it wasn’t nearly as exciting as people imagine.

He described a freezing, early morning scene to Vanity Fair, recalling being alone with another person on a large platform. They were both hungry, cold, and needed to use the restroom, and they only had the costumes their characters wore.

In this scene, our characters reach their peak of happiness, feeling like the future is wide open. As soon as the director called ‘cut,’ that joy instantly vanished.

While the film may be the biggest title on his resume, Nucci has not let it define his career.

Nucci has been acting consistently ever since, with roles on the big and small screens.

His resume demonstrates his versatility, with roles in comedies, dramas, and even the obscure.

Nucci has appeared in a variety of popular TV shows and films, including Crimson Tide, The Rock, CSI, Castle, Party of Five, House, Just Shoot Me!, Snoops, 9-1-1, Dynasty, The Chosen Adventures, and I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson.

Nucci gained recognition with a younger audience thanks to his role in the ABC Family series, The Fosters, where he played the stepfather to Noah Centineo’s character.
