Fans Convinced It Ends with Us Co-Star Supports Justin Baldoni with Telling Brooch
In another phrasing: It’s possible that Brandon Sklenar experienced an emotional breakdown when questioned about how he would back Blake Lively, his contentious co-star in “It Ends With Us,” during her legal battles. However, he was much more straightforward when discussing whether he sided with Blake or Justin Baldoni through their fashion choices.
On a recent Sunday, I found myself stepping out in a striking floral brooch reminiscent of one sported by a fellow lifestyle enthusiast, a 41-year-old filmmaker, at the August 6th world premiere of ‘It Ends With Us’ in Manhattan. Coincidentally, this same accessory was my choice for the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Beverly Hills.
Madeleine Kennedy, the stylist, obtained the “Blush Parrot Bloom” brooch by Anabela Chan worth $1,806 for Brandon. This exquisite piece is crafted from 18k gold vermeil and features a stunning 6.5 carat lab-created citrine gemstone.
Fans may remember that when Justin was exiled by the 37-year-old former Gossip Girl star to the basement of AMC Lincoln Square Theater, he donned a fancy hat, accompanied by his friends and relatives, to avoid being near her.
On Monday, Sklenar playfully titled his post about Elton John’s annual A-list party as follows: “Vanity Fair X long live the (brooch emblem)”.
1923’s actor attracted attention from his 543K Instagram followers, with user @chewbekahboo questioning, “Could this be the same brooch as JB wore at the premiere? Is this a sign of unity?
Instagram user @lindsaydawnebateman wrote: ‘One apology can change everything.’
@thesusanpresley commented, ‘It’s important for everyone to show Brandon some understanding. Consider if you heard from your co-star, who is a woman, that she had been harassed by the director.’
1) ‘Initially, a righteous person stood firm without causing confusion. Now, with new details emerging, he has adopted a more impartial position, likely finding himself in an impossible situation. I believe he’s treading cautiously through this complicated matter, and I’m optimistic that the brooch could symbolize unity.’
Instagram user @audrey.kuhn8 urged: “There’s still time to voice your opinion and take a stance against power and wealth.
@sultryinpink scoffingly commented, ‘It takes nerve to swipe the flower brooch concept from the very person you were trying to bring down so swiftly.’
‘Do you not have any self respect? (Creative) energy vampires really need to be exposed.’
Instagram user @lmd_stf agreed, simply posting three poop emojis and three snake emojis.
‘Wear your florals!’ Instagram user @swings4thefence commented.
‘Too bad he didn’t care about the message until now.’
@whathuhque posted: ‘That brooch seems like a symbolic show of solidarity. He realizes he’s lost supporters, so now he’s feigning alignment with JB without explicitly stating it. Everyone is falling for it, and he’s using this tactic to revive his rapidly fading career.’

When THR pressed him on Sunday, Brandon described the legal dispute between Lively and Baldoni as a challenging predicament, but refrained from expressing a clear opinion: “I simply hope everyone remembers the essence of our film – it’s about love, it’s about uplifting women, and it’s about providing support during difficult periods in life.
Approximately two months ago, Sklenar notably responded to the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants actress by posting a heart emoji and sharing a link to her December 22nd New York Times piece, accompanied by the message: “Please, for the sake of everything good, read this.
2 days ago, Blake lodged a grievance with the California Civil Rights Authority, accusing the former star of “Jane the Virgin” of sexual misconduct and retribution during the filming of “It Ends with Us” in New York City.
Justin promptly initiated a libel suit seeking $250 million from the New York Times due to their allegedly biased reporting of Lively’s malicious slander attempts. Meanwhile, Lively filed a lawsuit against him and his PR team on December 31st, accusing them of devising a strategy to tarnish her reputation in retaliation.
On January 16, Baldoni initiated a second lawsuit for approximately $400 million, accusing the LA-born woman, her husband Ryan Reynolds, their publicist Leslie Sloan, of civil extortion, slander, and breach of privacy.
The Manhattan US District trial is currently scheduled for March 2026.
Currently, the actor donning Green and Gold is playing the role of Spencer Dutton, the on-screen son to Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, in the eight-episode second season of Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone spinoff series titled 1923. The series can be streamed every Sunday on Paramount+.

I can hardly contain my excitement! Yours truly, yours truly, will be stepping into the enigmatic role of Henry in the gripping mystery-thriller “Drop,” directed by none other than Christopher Landon. This masterpiece is set to hit the big screens across the US and UK on April 11, courtesy of Universal Pictures. Can’t wait for this incredible journey!
In addition to his current projects, Sklenar is also working on a few more films. One of them is ‘The Housemaid’, produced by Lionsgate and directed by Paul Feig. Interestingly enough, this is the same director who will be working on Blake’s next movie titled ‘Another Simple Favor’.
On this coming Friday, it’s highly probable that Lively will be present at the debut screening of the upcoming Prime Video sequel, which is taking place at the Paramount Theatre in Austin, Texas, as part of the South by Southwest Festival.
