Fans Can’t Stop Roasting Disneyland Over The Pink Milk On The New Star Wars Menu

When Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened at Disneyland, it allowed fans to step into the Star Wars universe and create their own stories. Visitors could explore a new planet from the films, pilot the Millennium Falcon, and even sample the iconic blue and green milk enjoyed by Luke Skywalker.

Guests visiting Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios can already enjoy Blue Milk, famous from the original Star Wars films, and Green Milk, which Luke Skywalker drank in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Now, Disney Parks is adding a new option: Pink Milk, which will be available at Disneyland later this week.

I enjoy the colorful milk drinks at Disneyland, and I’m looking forward to trying the new Pink Milk. However, there’s a bit of a problem: it’s not actually pink, as theme park journalist Alicia Stella has noted.

Alicia isn’t alone in realizing the ‘pink milk’ isn’t actually pink. Many people on social media have noted that it appears more orange than pink, and online comments reflect this observation.

  • Introducing your new favorite beverage, Pink Milk, the bevy contains no milk or any pink! @ThemeParkBar
  • Is the milk pink or orange? – @AshleyLCarter1
  • So there’s another flavor coming in people will hate? – @NickChaps96
  • The green milk is yellow so what do you expect – @PeterSciretta

Pink Milk is a new drink unlike any other previously offered, as it’s not directly based on a Star Wars film. Interestingly, it’s considered official Star Wars lore because it was first mentioned in a Star Wars comic book before appearing at the Batuu theme park. The drink is made from the milk of an alien animal called a po’ackster.

Currently, the Pink Milk drink is only available at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland. While Disney hasn’t officially said it will come to the version of the land at Hollywood Studios, most people expect it to happen. When it does, a key question will be what, if anything, will be different about the drink there.

As a big Disney fan, I recently learned something interesting about alcohol in the parks. At Disneyland, if you want a drink, you have to be seated at a restaurant – you can’t just walk around with it. But over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, things are different! You can actually get a little kick added to your iconic milk drinks. If you order the Blue Milk, you can get it with rum, and the Green Milk comes with tequila. It’s a fun little detail that really adds to the experience!

Disneyland hasn’t revealed the exact taste of the new drink, but they describe it as sweet and fruity, like their other specialty beverages. Although blue seems to be the more popular choice, I personally prefer the green milk – but maybe this new drink will become my favorite!
