Fans are all saying the same thing about Sabrina Carpenter’s new duet with Chappell Roan
As a long-time fan of Sabrina Carpenter and someone who has followed her career since her Disney days, I must say that A Nonsense Christmas is a delightful surprise! It’s refreshing to see an artist take the traditional holiday special and turn it on its head with such creativity.
Fans are raving over Sabrina Carpenter’s new duet with Chappell Roan.
Last Friday saw the debut of the long-awaited Christmas special from the 25-year-old artist famous for Espresso tunes, titled “A Nonsense Christmas.” The production made its way onto Netflix, offering surprise appearances by guest artists, humorous skits, and a variety of unforeseen collaborations.
During the program, the charismatic blonde joined forces with the singer from the Pink Pony Club to perform a heartfelt cover of the well-known Wham! Christmas song, Last Christmas, which felt like an intense, impromptu duet at a lively karaoke night.
Sabrina belted out tunes vigorously, donning an eye-catching ensemble consisting of an emerald bralette, coordinating skirt that accentuated her waistline, and a plushy white coat.
In her performance, Chappell donned an outfit resembling a vibrant green crop top with integrated gloves and a split skirt that went down to her feet. Additionally, she showcased a voluminous white coat adorned with animal print details.
In a harmonious blend, their voices entwined wonderfully, infusing the words with a contemporary flair and heartfelt expression.
The scene appeared much like the disorganized remnants following an exuberant, noisy house gathering for a holiday – with discarded glasses, overturned sparkling wine bottles, and red and green party decorations strewn about, creating a lively impression of a festive event.
Enthusiasts promptly lauded the Bed Chem vocalist and Good Luck, Babe crooner for their impressive performance on X (previously known as Twitter). Some expressed desire for the song to be uploaded onto various streaming services, while others termed it ‘flawless.’
One user jokingly declared, “If Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter’s latest Christmas song doesn’t show up on Spotify, I’ll certainly cause a stir.
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but express that Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan’s rendition of ‘Last Christmas’ surpassed all my expectations and then some, to say the least, as penned by @madbaddo.
Another chimed in, ‘That was incredible oh my gawd!!! They sounded incredible together. Plus the outfits my gawd!! Perfect song choice too.’
@LoyalLeutenant commented that the collaboration between Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter on ‘Last Christmas’ in ‘A Nonsense Christmas’ is incredibly charming, oh my goodness!
One fan commented a fire emoji and said, ‘The chemistry between sabrina and Chappell [is fire].’
‘I need this on streaming yesterday…’ another follower penned.
Enjoy the complete rendition of “Last Christmas” by Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter – exclusively on Netflix! 💗

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’m thrilled to share that this festive season, you can only catch the one-of-a-kind special, “A Nonsense Christmas,” streaming exclusively on Netflix. This delightful production is a fun twist on my popular tune “Nonsense” which was reimagined for the holidays and dropped last December.
In this special occasion, the performer treats viewers to tunes from her 2023 Christmas EP titled “Fruitcake,” and also sings popular renditions of beloved holiday songs.
Sabrina also sang duets with stars Tyla, Shania Twain and Kali Uchis.
Additionally, stars such as Nico Hiraga, Quinta Brunson, Cara Delevingne, Kyle Mooney, Megan Stalter, Sean Astin, Owen Thiele, and Jillian Bell are also set to appear in the upcoming holiday special.
Under the freshly established At Last Productions banner, Sabrina collaborated with the OBB Pictures team to create “A Nonsense Christmas”.
The Juno songstress said in a press release, ‘The holidays have always been so special to me.
I’m eager to add my own spin to a traditional holiday variety program, blending my passion for music and humor to create something distinctively mine.
Michael D. Ratner, the executive producer and CEO of OBB Media, commended the artist who is at present touring globally with her Short n’ Sweet World Tour.
From the very beginning, Sabrina’s goal of challenging traditional holiday specials has been evident. Here at OBB, we collaborate with some of the most fascinating artists globally to breathe new life into the ordinary.
We’re thrilled with the collective efforts of our team and would like to give special recognition to Simone Spira, the Volara team, Sam Wrench, Nikki Boella, and everyone else who helped bring Sabrina’s dream to fruition on Netflix.
In September, the ex-Disney Channel child star collaborated with the streaming service to reveal their joint project through a promotional video that hinted at the upcoming special.
Currently, the stunning performer is taking a three-month hiatus from her tour, but she’s scheduled to kick off her European tour’s Irish leg in early March, specifically in Dublin, Ireland.
Starting from September 24, 2024, she initiated her Short n’ Sweet World Tour in Columbus, Ohio, with the intention of wrapping it up on March 26, 2025, in Milan, Italy.
The singer known for “Don’t Smile” has become the 11th most popular artist globally on Spotify, marking her 25th birthday celebration.
Two days following the reported breakup of Sabrina with her boyfriend, 32-year-old Oscar nominee Barry Keoghan, the release date for A Nonsense Christmas has been announced. In Sabrina’s steamy music video for Please Please Please, Saltburn star made an appearance.
Since starting her music career in 2014, this versatile artist has placed a total of 15 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
