Fans accuse Robert Pattinson of ‘mocking’ ex Kristen Stewart as he talks relationship ‘red flags’

Okay, I’m still reeling! Robert Pattinson… he basically hinted that things with Kristen were a disaster! He said their whole relationship had ‘red flag’ written all over it! Like, seriously?! It feels like a betrayal just hearing him say that, even though it was years ago. We all lived and breathed Robsten, and now it feels like he’s dismissing everything we felt and everything they shared. I’m honestly heartbroken he’d talk about it like that, like it was just some funny mistake. It just doesn’t feel right!

As a bit of a lifestyle observer, I was following all the buzz from the Rome premiere of this new film, and a fun question came up with the lead actor. He was chatting alongside Zendaya – she’s been turning heads, naturally – and someone asked him what he’d consider a major warning sign in a relationship. It got me thinking about all the little things we should be paying attention to!

Pattinson playfully pretended to consider the question, saying, ‘Like my Zodiac sign? Aries,’ before bursting out laughing and clarifying, ‘I’m kidding! I just said the first one that came to mind!’

However, many fans didn’t find it funny, and some pointed out on social media that Stewart, age 35, is an Aries – a zodiac sign often associated with being courageous, enthusiastic, and a natural leader.

‘JAJAJAJAJAJAJAAJJA Kris is Aries,’ one commenter wrote on X under a clip of Pattinson’s interview.

One person playfully criticized Kristen Stewart, while another joked that she embodies the Aries zodiac sign.

‘You can see him panicking realising what he’d done,’ a fourth ventured to say.

‘Randomly? Really?’ another X user clearly felt compelled to write.

The British actor and the Hollywood star began dating while making the Twilight movies and were together for four years.

Kristen Stewart and her partner faced difficulties after Stewart had an affair with Rupert Sanders, the director of Snow White and the Huntsman, in July 2012.

Stewart issued a public apology for hurting Pattinson.

She released a statement saying she made a mistake that could ruin everything, especially her relationship with the man she loves and deeply respects, Rob. She repeatedly expressed her love for him and apologized for her actions.

In a 2021 interview with The New Yorker, the popular actress confessed she’d been a fan of Pattinson right away.

The couple got married in a small ceremony in April 2025 at Casita Del Campo, a Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles’ Silver Lake neighborhood that they both love.

Pattinson, meanwhile, has been in a long-term relationship with Suki Waterhouse, 34, since 2018.

The movie heartthrob and the actress-singer welcomed their first child, a girl, in March 2024.

Pattinson caused a stir of a different kind when he hinted that he secretly married Waterhouse.

During an interview with Extra, the actor and his The Drama co-star, Zendaya, were asked to reveal the biggest secret they’d ever kept.

When asked about rumors that she and Tom Holland had secretly tied the knot, Zendaya playfully responded, ‘I don’t have an answer for that.’

Then it was Pattinson’s turn, and he responded by glancing at Zendaya, saying, ‘It’s the same one you’re using.’
