A fan-favorite Thunderbolts* character reportedly won’t be showing up in Avengers: Doomsday.

Marvel Studios is currently filming ‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ set to hit theaters in 2026. The next Avengers movie, ‘Secret Wars,’ is scheduled for release in 2027. The film is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, known collectively as the Russo Brothers.

Which Thunderbolts* character reportedly won’t be in Avengers: Doomsday?

Several characters from the Thunderbolts team will be featured in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday movie. These include Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Wyatt Russell as John Walker/U.S. Agent, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Lewis Pullman as Bob Reynolds/Sentry, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov, and Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr/Ghost.

According to Alex Perez from The Cosmic Circus, Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ character, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, likely won’t appear in the upcoming *Avengers: Doomsday* movie.

Perez said he doesn’t believe Valentina will appear in the new movie. He understands she’s been laying low while the New Avengerz have been busy.

Valentina first appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the 2021 series *The Falcon and the Winter Soldier*. She also made a quick appearance in the 2021 film *Black Widow* and had a role in the 2022 movie *Black Panther: Wakanda Forever*. Marvel Studios hasn’t yet announced which project she’ll be in next.

Avengers: Doomsday stars Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, alongside Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Letitia Wright as Black Panther, Tenoch Huerta Mejía as Namor, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Channing Tatum as Gambit, and several other actors.

You can now watch Thunderbolts* on Disney+. Avengers: Doomsday will be available starting December 18, 2026, and Avengers: Secret Wars is scheduled to release on December 17, 2027.
