Famous Stars Make Surprising Cameos in 2013 Movie – Can You Spot Them?

10 years following the release of the thrilling movie “White House Down,” viewers have discovered that two well-known celebrities, Jeff Bezos’ partner Lauren Sanchez and former Real Housewives star Garcelle Beauvais, secretly made appearances in the film.

Before Sanchez gained fame as an astronaut and romantic partner of a wealthy industrialist, she was a well-known TV host and occasionally appeared in significant films.

In the 2013 movie, White House Down, the character Sanchez was depicted as a reporter who announced tragically that the president, played by Jamie Foxx, perished during a terrorist incident.

Upon receiving the news from Sanchez’s character, I, standing as Beauvais portraying the First Lady, found myself welling up with tears alongside my on-screen daughter, deeply moved by the unfolding drama.

Spectators were taken aback as they spotted an unexpected appearance by Sanchez, prompting one source to exclaim to DailyMail.com, “Could that be Lauren Sanchez? I can’t believe it! What’s she doing here?

Wow, Lauren Sanchez! I wouldn’t have thought she’d show up there,” commented another observer.

‘Literally what is she doing in a movie,’ a third joked.

‘Wow good for her, I didn’t know she could act,’ a fourth added.

Although Beauvais landed the part as the actress’s screen spouse, her character appeared in just two scenes within the movie.

As a die-hard fan, I’d say I was utterly captivated by the movie “White House Down.” It places me squarely in the shoes of none other than President James Sawyer, portrayed brilliantly by Jamie Foxx. This film takes me on an exhilarating rollercoaster ride as he finds himself in a perilous predicament – under siege by ruthless mercenaries who have taken over the iconic White House!

During an attack on the White House, Channing Tatum’s character, John Cale (Capital Policeman), is present along with his daughter. This occasion coincides with him interviewing for his long-desired position within the Secret Service.

In a genuine situation, Cale demonstrates his skills on the spot when he encounters President Sawyer, who is not portrayed by anyone other than Joey King, after being apart from his daughter.

In the throes of a thrilling journey, Cale takes up the task of shielding the president and rescuing his child as the nation spirals into turmoil.

In the beginning of the film, we see Beauvais for the first time as she phones her president from another country to discuss the approaching terms of a treaty.

Later on, President Sawyer confides in his spouse that he’s anxious about the upcoming election and worries it might only be a single term for him as president.

Later, the First Lady gently brings to President Sawyer’s attention a memento she had presented to him – a token that was previously given by Mary Todd Lincoln to her spouse – which represents the short duration President Sawyer has to aid the American populace.

In response, President Sawyer says, “I understand, so give my kiss to Amber. I truly care for all of you, and I’m really missing you. Now, it’s time for me to get back to being president.

Following our heartfelt conversation, a wave of uncertainty swept across the nation, as I, an ardent supporter, found myself temporarily gripped by the anxious suspicion that my president might have met an untimely end within the confines of the White House.

In the hotel room, Beauvais nervously watches the unfolding disaster, terrified that her spouse might have met his demise.

In this instance, it’s the point where the character played by Sanchez, who is identified as Reporter 12 in the movie, appears on-screen to broadcast the news.

Vice President Hammond was recently inaugurated as the 47th U.S. President, which unfortunately marks the sad reality: the demise of President James Sawyer.

People worldwide are on tenterhooks, curious to know, “What’s unfolding currently in the U.S.A.?” Given that the U.S. possesses the largest military armament among nations.

As Sanchez delivers her lines, the camera pans to Beauvais, who is holding her daughter in tears.

Apart from her role as a news reporter, Sanchez has also acted in films. One of her notable appearances was as a newscaster in the 1999 thriller, “Fight Club,” alongside Brad Pitt and Edward Norton.

In various movies such as Ted 2, Celeste & Jesse Forever, We Bought a Zoo, Dirt, College Road Trip, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Zoom, Akeelah and the Bee, Fantastic Four, The Longest Yard, Cellular, and The Day After Tomorrow, Sanchez was showcased either as an on-screen anchor or a news reporter.

In my professional journey, I’ve had the privilege of playing a news reporter on various TV programs, with notable appearances on the sitcom Girlfriends and the Sci-Fi show, Babylon 5.

Sanchez’s extensive on-screen reporting work highlights her early days in television broadcasting.

she kicked off her career in broadcasting at a local news outlet in Arizona, then moved on to work as a correspondent for Extra.

Apart from her stints at Fox Sports Net and Good Morning LA, Sanchez tried out for The View but didn’t make it. However, she went on to host the inaugural season of So You Think You Can Dance, and appeared as a guest on Larry King Live, The Joy Behar Show, and Showbiz Tonight.

Instead, Beauvais found greater success in obtaining leading roles, propelling herself into stardom with appearances on The Jamie Foxx Show, where she portrayed the romantic interest of her White House Down co-star.

Additionally, she appeared together with Eddie Murphy in the film Coming 2 America and regularly starred in ABC’s police drama series NYPD Blue.

2023 saw Beauvais assume the role of executive producer for the film “Black Girl Missing,” where she also graced the screen as a cast member.
