Suzi Taylor recently opened up about a difficult time in her life and how she overcame it in a heartfelt video posted to Instagram on Sunday.
The 53-year-old actress, known for her role on Block, shared with her fans that she’s overcome difficult experiences, including rejection and abandonment, and some very challenging times. However, she’s determined not to let those past hardships control her future.
Hi, I want to share what I’ve been going through, and it hasn’t been easy,” Taylor started, explaining she’d recently felt completely overwhelmed and emotionally exhausted.
I went through a really tough time, struggling with my mental and emotional health. I experienced rejection and feelings of being alone, and had some very difficult thoughts, but I’m still here and moving forward.
Taylor explained that getting through tough times wasn’t about pretending to be okay, but about focusing on small steps – taking things ‘one day at a time, one breath at a time.’ She emphasized that taking ownership of her situation and being resilient were key to overcoming her challenges.
She explained that she not only survived, but also learned to cope by acknowledging her struggles and focusing on small, daily steps – taking things one day, and even one breath, at a time.

The reality TV star shared a video introducing her ‘seven minute reset’ – a short, mindful break she says helped her cope with a very difficult time in her life.
She described it as something deeply personal that helped her cope with incredibly difficult periods in her life, calling it ‘the seven minute reset’.
This isn’t about quick fixes or exaggeration. It’s a straightforward, effective way to take a break – just seven minutes to calm your mind and body.
Taylor stressed the practice was accessible and did not require expensive programs or therapy.
She explained that you don’t need formal therapy, costly courses, or a huge time commitment – just seven minutes is enough.
‘It’s right here at your fingertips. You can do it anywhere. Anytime life feels too heavy.’
She said the goal was not to fix everything at once, but to get through each day.
She explained that it wasn’t about making huge life changes all at once, but simply about getting through each day, one at a time.

If something worked for me, it could work for you too. And if you’re struggling, you deserve help and encouragement – not criticism or guilt.
Taylor finished the video with an encouraging message, telling her audience, “I’m happy to have you all here. We can do this as a team, and I’ll support you.”
Suzi recently shared a joyful update online, following a heartfelt post she made last year at the end of 2024.
She posted a selfie and told her followers that the last few years, filled with legal battles, had been a painful learning experience.
She started a heartfelt post by sharing that the last few years have been incredibly difficult, marked by the loss of people she cared about and the pain of not being with her children.
She said her family stopped speaking to her because of inaccurate things the media reported, and that they never bothered to find out what really happened.
She described the experience as a painful but valuable lesson about the true meaning of family and loving someone without limits.
In a heartfelt post, Suzi shared that the experience had made her rethink her definition of family.

Despite experiencing deep sadness and feeling very alone, I’ve discovered a strength within myself. I’ve realized that family isn’t just about who you’re related to – it’s about the people who support you when you’re going through tough times, even if they come into your life unexpectedly, she explained.
Finishing the expansive post, Suzi said she was hopeful the new year would be more positive.
Last year, Suzi appeared in a Brisbane court regarding a strange kidnapping plot involving a ‘honey trap,’ a case that shocked the television industry.
The reality star and Ali Ebrahimi were found not guilty of all accusations, which included extortion, false imprisonment, fraud, and assault. The Daily Mail confirms it is not implying either person committed any wrongdoing.
That was in 2020, and her legal troubles continued for some years.
She’s currently out on bail while facing charges related to drug trafficking. She also recently received another conviction for possessing methamphetamine, adding to her criminal record.
Last March, she admitted to trespassing, theft, and a simple assault, but instead of going to jail, she was only required to pay a fine.
Last October, she broke into a house and demanded belongings from a previous resident.
At the time, she had just been released from prison where she’d served 50 days for evading police.
The former reality TV star has had a history of legal troubles and has repeatedly appeared in court for different offenses.
In April 2021, Suzi went to court facing charges like extortion, unlawful imprisonment, assault, and fraud. These charges came about after a reported incident related to a private meeting that didn’t go as planned.
Police accused Suzi and Ali Ebrahimi of kidnapping and attacking a man she met on a dating app. However, both were acquitted of all charges.
A month later, Suzi was found guilty of several offenses – possessing small amounts of cocaine and marijuana, driving under the influence, trespassing, and repeatedly violating the terms of her bail – but received no additional penalty.
In May 2019, she admitted to fraud and theft after being caught using a stolen credit card to purchase alcohol.
A mother of three was caught on camera purchasing alcohol on May 2nd with a credit card she stole from a patient at Mater Hospital.
