Okay, so as a huge Marvel fan, I’ve been seeing so much noise online about “Avengers: Doomsday.” It’s crazy! A ton of fake images have been popping up, and everyone’s trying to figure out where they came from and how much is actually real. With the movie still a ways off in 2026, it’s just fueling the fire – we’re all trying to separate fact from fiction, and it’s getting intense!
Marvel heroes’ AI photos in old suits continue to confuse Avengers: Doomsday fans
Fake AI-generated photos of Marvel’s Avengers cast in vintage costumes are spreading on X (formerly Twitter), leaving fans puzzled and amused.
A post circulating online showed a picture of Tobey Maguire, sparking rumors it was a first glimpse of him in the upcoming film ‘Avengers: Doomsday’. The post, published on November 20, 2025, has already garnered over 55,000 views.
A possible first glimpse of Tobey Maguire and Robert Downey Jr. appearing in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ was shared online and quickly gained attention, reaching 131,800 views on the same day.
A new post with four images revealed a first look at the upcoming movie, ‘AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY,’ set to release in theaters on December 18, 2026. The post, shared on November 18th, has already received 714,000 views.
People looked closely at the images online to figure out what was real and what was created by artificial intelligence. They noticed several problems, like hair that didn’t quite match up, and inconsistencies in the lighting and costumes, which only added to the confusion among fans.
As a movie reviewer, I’m increasingly concerned about the growing use of AI in filmmaking. Recently, Marvel’s Secret Invasion faced criticism for its AI-generated opening credits, and Obi-Wan Kenobi controversially used AI to recreate the iconic voice of James Earl Jones. These instances aren’t isolated; they’re part of a larger trend that’s sparking debate about the future of creativity and authenticity in film and television.
Coca-Cola’s Christmas ad created with AI sparked discussion and criticism, similar to other AI-generated content that’s been released.
With AI getting better at creating things, we’re seeing more and more fake leaks online. The recent spread of fake Avengers images is a good example of how hard it can be for people to tell what’s real and what’s not.
