GOODROID, Inc. has announced that their new casual idle RPG, FAIRY TAIL: Wizard Chronicle, will launch on December 3rd for both Android and iOS. The game, which was first revealed in August, is now available for pre-registration, and players can earn rewards by reaching certain milestones.

Fairy Tail is back in the spotlight! After the recent sequel anime, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest, comes a brand-new, relaxed RPG called FAIRY TAIL Wizard Chronicle. This offers a fresh adventure for dedicated fans of the series.

In this game, you can collect over 80 popular characters and create your ultimate team to take on challenging quests. I really enjoy the character designs, in both the standard and cute chibi styles, and the special skills and effects are great too. However, I wish the gameplay was more like action-packed titles such as NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja STORM or Solo Leveling: ARISE instead of being a mostly hands-off, auto-battling game. Still, it’s perfect for longtime fans who don’t have much time to play these days.

Overall, this looks promising, with anime cutscenes, fun mini-games, a fresh storyline, and new enemies. Plus, when it launches, you’ll get 720 free Gacha pulls to collect a ton of strong wizards!
