GOODROID, Inc. has announced that their new casual idle RPG, FAIRY TAIL: Wizard Chronicle, will launch on December 3rd for both Android and iOS. The game, which was first revealed in August, is now available for pre-registration, and players can earn rewards by reaching certain milestones.

It seems like Hiro Mashima’s FAIRY TAIL is gaining popularity once more. Following the release of the sequel anime, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest in 2024, comes a new, relaxed RPG called FAIRY TAIL Wizard Chronicle. This offers dedicated fans a chance to experience a brand-new story within the world they love.

I’m so excited about this game! You get to collect over 80 characters I already know and love, and build the ultimate team to take on these tough S-Class Quests. As a huge fan of the series, I’m especially thrilled I can train characters like Natsu, the Fire Dragon Slayer, Erza, who’s known as the Strongest Woman in Fairy Tail, Gray, the Ice-Make Mage, and so many others!

Players can dive into mini-games, and even enjoy free 720 Gacha pulls

I really enjoy the character designs, in both the standard and cute chibi styles, and the special skills and effects are great too. However, I wish the gameplay was more like action-packed titles such as NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja STORM or Solo Leveling: ARISE, instead of just an idle game with automatic battles. Still, it’s perfect for longtime fans who don’t have much time to play due to work or other commitments.

Overall, this looks promising with its anime cutscenes, fun mini-games, expanded story, and new enemies. Plus, players will get 720 free Gacha pulls at launch, which means they can quickly build a team of strong wizards.

The mobile game FAIRY TAIL: Wizard Chronicle will be available on Android and iOS starting December 3rd. Pre-registration is now open on the Google Play Store and App Store.
