Fabio, the famously handsome Italian model, was recently spotted out and about, and he still looks fantastic.
The now 66-year-old star – who was last seen a year-and-a-half ago – was recently spotted on an errand run at upscale grocery run Bristol Farms in Los Angeles.
Fabio became famous in the late 1980s and early 1990s for being the romantic lead on over 1,300 book covers.
The actor looked as handsome as always, wearing a purple, long-sleeved shirt that was partially unbuttoned, revealing his muscular chest.
He completed his outfit with grey skinny jeans and black suede boots while shopping, pushing a cart along with him.
Fabio’s famously long, blonde hair still looked full and healthy, flowing down his back.
The celebrity was thoughtless while grocery shopping, leaving his cart on the curb instead of returning it to the proper area.
He’s famous for his work on romance novel covers, but he’s also been on TV shows like Roseanne, America’s Next Top Model, and The Bold and the Beautiful.
He’s also made cameo appearances as himself in several movies, such as Eddie (1996), Spy Hard (1996), and especially the popular film Zoolander (2001).
More recently he starred as The Pope in Sharknado 5: Global Swarming in 2017.
Fabio has represented several brands in advertising campaigns, such as I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter! and Old Spice.
On top of his already successful acting career, he’s also worked as a high fashion model, even appearing in campaigns for brands like Versace and Gap.
The actor, originally from Milan, Italy, quickly became famous despite a relatively easy start to his career.
Lanzoni, who became an American citizen in 2016, was first noticed as a teenager by a photographer while exercising.
Back in 2015, he told The Guardian that his modeling career began unexpectedly at age 14. He was at the gym in Milan when Oliviero Toscani, a very famous European photographer, suggested he try modeling.
I wasn’t familiar with the entertainment world, so I didn’t recognize him at first. I actually gave him my dad’s phone number, and he ended up calling my father, offering me a role in a major campaign. That’s when my career really started to gain momentum.
Fabio admitted he didn’t earn his career success through hard work. He said it was handed to him, and he doesn’t deserve the credit. He was much more focused on sports and fitness during that time.
The actor explained to The Guardian that when he photographs the covers for his popular romance novels, his approach is straightforward: he focuses on the intimacy of embracing a beautiful woman and imagines making love to her.
When you’re performing for the camera, you need to fully commit to the role. A simple photo isn’t enough; you have to truly embody the character. Viewers will connect with your intensity – they’ll see the emotion in your eyes and understand you mean what you say, like a threat such as, ‘If I catch you, I’ll really make you suffer!’
Surprisingly, one of the actor’s most remembered moments wasn’t a professional triumph. He became well-known after being hit in the face by a goose while on a rollercoaster ride on March 31, 1999, leaving him with injuries.
When the new Apollo’s Chariot roller coaster opened at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia, something unexpected happened that got a lot of attention. It was so strange that many people thought it must be an April Fool’s Day prank when they heard about it the next day.
Fabio recently recalled a surprising encounter from March 2024 – being hit by a 12-pound goose while it was migrating. Speaking to People magazine on the 25th anniversary of the event, he said it wasn’t a laughing matter and described it as a miraculous incident.
I realize how lucky I am. To be hit by something traveling around 80 miles per hour – even as a goose – and only need a stitch is incredible, honestly a miracle. That experience made me determined to live life to the fullest. I could have been killed, or lost my sight, but all I ended up with was a small cut.
