F1 Star Drops Major Hint About Becoming the Next Black Panther!

In the latest big-screen production by Apple Studios, F1, there is speculation that one of its leading actors could potentially take on the role of the new Black Panther for Marvel Studios. Since the passing of Chadwick Boseman in 2020, the T’Challa character has not been featured in any Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) project, leaving both fans and the studio in a quandary about how to proceed.

Damson Idris, known for his F1 fame, subtly suggested he might assume the position of Black Panther in Marvel Studios. Since T’Challa was written off in the Marvel Cinematic Universe following Chadwick Boseman’s tragic passing from colon cancer, many fans have been urging Marvel Studios to recast this iconic role. Idris’ recent remarks could suggest that this wish might be granted soon.

During an interview on “The Today Show”, while discussing the upcoming release of “F1”, Idris was asked a series of questions that required simple ‘yes’ or ‘no’ responses. One of the questions touched upon rumors about him being considered for a role in the MCU as T’Challa. In response to this, he hesitated, showing signs of contemplation before ambiguously answering both ‘yes’ and ‘no’.

While conversing with co-anchor Craig Melvin, Melvin remarked, “By the way, a yes-no could mean yes,” to which Idris retorted, “Well, it might mean no!” Following another comment from Melvin suggesting “it probably means yes,” he posed the question to Idris, “If they asked, would you say yes?” In response to this inquiry, Idris didn’t hesitate and replied, “Yes.” This response from Idris has sparked discussions among fans.

In the initial scenes of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” (2022), the character Black Panther, portrayed by T’Challa, was tragically killed off. His younger sister Shuri then stepped up to assume the role from her deceased brother. Yet, whispers suggest that Marvel Studios might consider recasting the Black Panther character for possible appearances in either “Avengers: Doomsday” (2026) or “Avengers: Secret Wars” (2027).
