On Wednesday, Joshua Sasse stepped onto the set of Channel Seven’s The Morning Show for an uncommon conversation about his latest project titled “Outrageous.

In an unexpected twist during the interview, the show’s host, Kylie Gillies, posed a question that took me by surprise – she inquired about my past relationship with none other than Kylie Minogue.

Diving headfirst into our shared passion for the arts, Kylie and I delved deep into my acting journey, particularly my role on that enchanting series and the magical movie “Love Is in the Air” with the captivating Delta Goodrem. Intrigued, she then gently steered the conversation towards my past, igniting a reminiscent spark within me.

She remarked, “It seems you enjoy collaborating with Australian musicians, given your appearance in a music video featuring Kylie Minogue.

Joshua, somewhat puzzled, replied first, ‘Did I…?’ Then he clarified, ‘Yes, indeed it did happen. It was something that came up at the last moment.’

Kylie asked: ‘Were you dating? Because you dated there for a while.’

‘Yes we were, we were engaged,’ Joshua said before explaining how he ended up in the video clip.

‘We didn’t know what to do for the video and we all pitched in last minute and that happened.’

At the age of 27, Joshua became smitten with the pop legend Kylie, who was 47 at the time, as she joined the cast of his popular comedic TV show, Galavant, to play a guest character.

In the summer of 2015, Joshua was already married to Francesca Cini and they had a child together. However, his romantic involvement with Kylie didn’t follow a typical fairy tale beginning as he encountered her on set during that time.

As a die-hard admirer, I can’t help but spill the beans about the undeniable romance that was as clear as day on set! It was so evident, even the hilarious Vinnie Jones, Joshua’s fellow actor, couldn’t resist teasing him, claiming he had always been smitten with Kylie since the very first day.

In February 2016, just six months after meeting, Sasse proposed.

After a year, their fast-moving relationship hit a roadblock, as it was announced that they had ended their engagement.

It was said at the point of their split that Kylie believed Joshua might have been unfaithful to her.

Despite the unverified allegations, Joshua refrained from suing numerous media outlets for labeling him as dishonest.

After their split, he went on to date another Australian, Louisa Ainsworth.

In the year 2018, they tied the knot, added two little ones to their family, and nestled into a peaceful existence in Byron Bay, a charming coastal town located up north in New South Wales.

However, it was only last month that Joshua admitted they had parted ways, following photographs emerging of him affectionately with a resident of Byron Bay.

He informed Daily Mail that him and Louisa made the decision to separate following a thorough contemplation, and they maintain a mutual level of respect.

Previously, Joshua and a local woman were noticeably at ease together within the grounds of North Belongil Beach Park Reserve.

As she was married, the woman pulled up beside Joshua, parking nearby. After both of them got out of their respective vehicles, they walked happily together, chatting, while leading a dog along with them.

At some point, she gently slid her hand beneath his t-shirt to massage his chest, all the while maintaining eye contact. Their encounter continued for roughly a quarter of an hour before they both made their way back to their individual cars.
