BBC’s Irish comedy-drama Leonard and Hungry Paul just announced a major cast update.
Inspired by Rónán Hession’s novel of the same title, this six-part series focuses on two companions who enjoy board games and are in their thirties. As they navigate their way through picturesque suburban settings, they derive comfort from their predictable daily rituals.
The surprising demise of Leonard’s mother, coupled with Hungry Paul’s upcoming sister’s wedding and a budding relationship for Leonard, propels both individuals into a world that expands unexpectedly and brims with novel prospects. (paraphrased)
