Fans of the classic movie “Grease” can look forward to an unparalleled, immersive experience with the film this coming summer.

The entertainment group Secret Cinema is planning to stage a fresh production in London, this time centered around the iconic 1978 film.

Experience the world of Rydell High and live the story of “Grease” as you immerse yourself in the movie musical, where fans can actively participate and watch the events unfold right before them. Enjoy live music, carnival-style ambiance, and American diner-inspired cuisine while interacting with characters like Sandy, Danny, and their friends.

The occasion is scheduled from August 1 to September 7 at Evolution London, located within Battersea Park. Fans can register here for updates and be among the first to secure tickets ahead of time. O2 priority users will additionally receive access to a pre-sale, with a public sale slated for March.

In simple terms, Secret Cinema is set to launch its initial project in London this year (2023), while future events in 2026 and 2027 are yet to be disclosed.

In the initial version of ‘Grease’, the leading roles were filled by Olivia Newton-John portraying Sandy and John Travolta playing Danny. During a summer fling, they found themselves in love, only to reconnect later when Sandy switched schools.

The movie is equally remarkable for its music score, filled with timeless classics like “Summer Nights”, “Hopelessly Devoted to You”, and “You’re the One That I Want”.

Secret Cinema producer Merritt Baer expressed excitement as Secret Cinema is coming back to London for the first time since 2022, and he couldn’t think of anything more exhilarating than experiencing those summer evenings with the immersive movie musical GREASE: The Musical.

Moving to Evolution London, situated within Battersea Park, signifies not only Secret Cinema’s most convenient location thus far, but also initiates a three-year collaboration. During this period, our renowned creative crew will deliver a spectacular production embodying an iconic work every summer.
